i dont know if this is exactly outrageous or what but someone told me that amy and shaun broke up. don't rip me a new one for this because the way she explained it seemed believable (or maybe i'm just gullible). but yeah... i'd definitely like to know more about this one :\

Here's a conversation I recently has with some guy I'll call Dumbass, simple cuz there is no better word to describe him:

Dumbass: You're a fan of Evanescence?
Me: Yea they're my favourite.
Dumbass: But the lead singer lip syncs.
Me: What???????
Dumbass: Yea, that girl doesn't sing the lyrics herself.
Me: First of all, her name is Amy Lee, not that girl, and where the hell did you hear something as stupid as that?
Dumbass: Someone told me.
Me: Who?
Dumbass: I don't remember.
Me: Well whoever it is, is full of shit. Don't believe someone when you don't know the facts for yourself.
Dumbass: And you know the facts?
Me: Watch anything where she performs, you'll know for sure.
Dumbass: Naw, it's ok.
Me: God damnit!
Dumbass: Well it doesn't matter, she was only in the band because she was sleeping with that dude who left. He left when they broke up because she's a publicity whore and he didn't have a choice.
Me: (No words, only violence)

Another conversation, this time with a girl:
Me: How can you like music where they don't sing live or write their own songs? It's all for profit, not for art.
Girl: Like you should talk, you like Evanescence.
Me: and what is that supposed to mean?
Girl: They rip off other bands. How is that art?
Me: WTF???????
Girl: They steal from Nightwish
Me: (Fighting the urge to slap her) They do not rip off Nightwish! Just because they both have female singers you think they are the same??
Girl: That's bullshit.
Me: Research it before you attack!

I also heard right after Ben left that he couldn't take life and he killed himself. Then everyone started comparing him to Kurt Cobain. Sigh....the best thing a rocker can do is die.....

The cover of "Exodus", is the same like "Once".
And I'm sure "Once" came later than "Exodus".

In the last week of school, two girls saw my Eva patch on my bag ..

...and asked, "Hey, did you hear they broke up?"
At first I thought they were talking about Amy and Shaun, and I was like "Yeah that is sad, they made a cute couple." And by the reaction I knew they were talking about Eva themselves. I started laughing and said, "No, they are working on their new album"
Stupid people make me laugh, thinking they know everything about Eva!
