That was some rumor I heard when they first came out. Not only were they a Christian band, but Amy had actually been really into Wicca and then became born-again. The song 'Everybody's Fool' was about the pagan goddess, and how when she realized Christianity was the only real religion, she felt betrayed and wrote the song. I heard it from a friend at the time who was into Wicca. She liked the music, but when she found out, or rather when she thought she found out they were a Christian band, and they were insulting her religion, she refused to listen to them. Didn't matter, she had already bought the CD, so they had her money.

Ok, I really had nowhere else to put this....
So last night I went with my mom to our new Hastings (we just got a bigger and better one in our town) and I was over by the CD section and I was standing next to their computer thing and my mom goes "Hey look, isn't that your band?" And I looked to where she was pointing at and there were these little slot things with cards in them saying "Reserve your copy today" and it had different band's CDs. Well they had one for Evanescence saying "Reserve your copy today for March 2006" but guess what?!? It was for Anywhere But Home!! I was like "wtf? That's a year old!" I mean, I would understand if it just had Evanescence on it but why did they put and old album's name as well? Whatever, the lady was standing right there too so she took it down and then I walked by like 5 minutes later and it was back up again! So threatened to steal it, lol. In fact I'm going there again in a little bit.... *shifty eyes* Anywho, so that's my rumor. Their new album will be named Anywhere But Home and it'll be out March 2006. Great....

Some people that I have talked to seem to be confused on this subject...ABH the new Ev cd...phish yea right. I guess they just didn't know that it had come out last year!

Also, its rumored that the first single off Ev's new album will be the song "Prisoner for a Long Day." Also, another song titled is rumored to be called "The Last Song I'm Wasting On You."--these two song titles have been thrown around a lot...I don't believe it till I sees it.

Also, It has been said that "Even in Death", track 7 on the previously released album, Origin will be remade and be re-released on Evanescence's sophomore album.---umm I don't think so...I wish though.

clicky...the new album will be out March 14th...and "Prisoner for a Long Day" for the single! I can only hope this is true

Incorrect and outdated.

According to Wind-up, it'll be out by Summer 2006.

Now for a real rumor.

I heard that Amy was learning how to play the keytar for the album.
