Angry Pigeons shot at Wimbledon

What gives the English the right to shoot pigeons at the Wimbledon Elitest Tennis Tournament? http://sports.yahoo.com/ten/news?slu...ters&type=lgns

Is that their only excuse? Everybody and everything shits. If I was to have an accident in the stands, do I deserve to be shot?

So, not only do we need to have a moment of silence for the pigeons, I think the shooters should have a gun pointed at THEM, and see how THEY like it! Totally unneccessary waste of bullets, and life. PETA deserves to go all the way on this... Er yeah!

Um, yeah, but you weren't going around dropping a deuce in people's food. That IS a health hazard. And a gross hazard. And I'd reckon you were mentally unstable if that were to happen. Though, it is possible that the pigeons were retarded. Maybe the marksmen were doing a good thing putting 'em out of their misery?

P.S. I think the REAL culprit here should be seagulls. I'm so damn tired of those things crapping on my blue car. It's those bastards that need to be shot at.

I can see both sides. On one hand, pigeon poo is a health hazard, on the other hand, was there a better way to take care of this? Pigeons are vermin, really. They shit all over the place but killing them is a little extreme, I think.

But just think... if we jumped straight to killing, we'd save ourselves so much time debating and pissing about unnecessary "what's ethical" junk. Bleh. Who has time for that any more?

Right, lets kill them then.

My dad used to shoot pigeons that nested in the roof of the shed. It never bothered us because they'd crap all over the place and they really, really stank.

Seagulls in Ohio? Is that even normal?

Dude, seagulls are every where. We have beaches in Ohio... and we are bordered by one of the five great lakes. Besides seagulls are always attracted to parking lots and all that.

Oh. I forgot about the Great Lakes. How stupid of me!

I've only seen seagulls in southwest Missouri once or twice and that was when there were big hurricanes in the gulf.
