I prefer rock over everything, but I listen to everything, as many others have said peviously. I am a sucker for strong female vocals, I listen to the new MAriah Carey and Jordin Sparks' singles more than I care to admit. I love Kelly Clarkson's voice. I am a hardcore metalhead from way back. I also prefer classic rock to modern rock. Oh, and Yngwie Malmsteen ftw! /m\

I have actually been, getting more into heavy metal.
A buddy of mine, he is always listening to it so I have
learned to like alot of it as well!

I must say that i like all music:i listen to Chopin,Beethoven,Nina Simone,Portishead,Lamb,til Arch Enemy,Tool,A perfect circle,Cream,The doors,Siouxie and the banshees,but most of all with this poll i wanted to know the music you all like to listen,when you're sad when you're happy,or in my case when i'm angry i listen to Nirvana :"you know you're right".

I really like rock, it just does more for me than other most other music does. I'm not saying that I won't listen to other genres, But it has to be something that I can get into.
