It's really not difficult. Evanescence aren't all that popular to non-ev fans. They aren't like, let's say...Justin Timberlake [please don't turn this into a justin sucks thread kthx.] who, even if aperson doesn't care for his music, they'd probably ask for his autograph etc...

do ya have to get backstage passes to get stuff signed, or you have to be lucky and just catch them outside or something?

You just have to be very patient and wait by the back exit of the venues they do the concert in. It worked both times for me

My scanners unplugged, and my camera is being borrowed, so I'm just posting an old, kinda small, really badly annotated picture... (I took it when I was 15!)

...Got my album signed at the sound check for Hammersmith Apollo, 2003...time has gone so fast.

I had a picture taken with them, too, where Amy put her arm around me - she refused to leave until I had a picture (I was barely 15... didn't bring a camera incase it risked me seeing them (yep, stupid)) - but the person who ended up taking it for me didn't send me the picture. They promised they would. I gave them email, telephone, argh... was so naive.

Still have this though:

John signed the back...
