This Is What It's Like

(I wrote this when I was about 15, by the way)

Living in an isolated world
Afraid
Being judged unfairly
Ridiculed
Scared of rejection
Do you really know me at all?
Am I normal?
Cruel taunts hurt my pride
I'm normal
Just a different
Why do you hate me?
No one understands
Feelings so hard to tell
Can you see my point of view?
How it is for me
Day after day
Hated
Is this a disease?
I didn't ask for it
Make me normal, please
Like everyone else
With friends
Not enemies or judgement
I don't like being alone
In my own world
Shunned by ignorance
By misconception
Want someone to share secrets with
Laugh with, cry with
Trust
Not someone who hates me
Why are they afraid?
What have I done wrong?
Different on the inside
Same on the outside
Why do you judge me?
Who gave you the right?
This is me
This is what it's like to be gay

I loved your words.
That is so deep, touching, hits deep down, expresses so much
feeling and emotion.
Every word spoken, I can relate to so much of it, its so very real.
I would love to read more of your poems.
They are simply sensational.

Everytime i read your words,Kylie, i've noted,that the common things,are the judgment,the lack of something, and lot of fear before the frustration,but in your words "the rejection".Is good to read this words, because you're not,we are not,the only ones who have felt this.
