Prison Break [TV]

I've been meaning to make a thread about this show for a long time, but I never did--until now! I'm thinking that there must be a few Evboard people watching this, it is a really good show.

Here is just a short summary for those of you who are maybe interested in checking it out, it's on Monday nights at 8/7c on Fox (right before 24!).

Quote:
MICHAEL SCOFIELD (Wentworth Miller) is a desperate man in a desperate situation – his brother, LINCOLN BURROWS (Dominic Purcell), has been convicted of a sensational murder and is on death row in Fox River State Penitentiary. Despite the evidence against Lincoln, Michael is convinced of his innocence. With no other options and the clock ticking toward Lincoln's execution, Michael holds up a bank to get himself incarcerated alongside his brother. Once he's inside, we learn that Michael – a structural engineer with the blueprints for the prison – has hatched an elaborate plan to break Lincoln out and prove that he was framed for the crime.
Looks like next weeks episode will be Lost-ish, meaning that they will show us how the characters ended up where they are now (in prison in this case). I can't wait!

I'm a 24 freak, so when they moved it in the timeslot right before 24, I figured FOX was pretty confindent in the show so I gave it a shot. I've watched the last 2 episodes, and I must say they werent bad at all.

But that means you missed the first half of the season

I like the show, the characters are interesting and knowing a little bit more about them next week will be interesting.

I like how FOX didn't think the show was gonna work and didn't even bother to keep space for it for January. Shows how much they care about what they put on TV

I love Prison Break. I think the last one shown over here was episode 10.
It really does somehow get better every episode.

Isn't Prison Break in its second season now?

FOX is notorious for doing that, even to the shows that are doing all right but get swept away because of certain temporary reality shows that do just a tiny bit better. I got sick of getting addicted to a cool new show (IE - Reunion) and being left in the middle of a cliffhanger because they decide to cancel it. So I decided I wouldn't watch any new FOX shows that come out, and I haven't since.

Now the only "new" show I watch on that channel is this one, because I'm already addicted to it. :D It is very interesting, and I hope it lasts awhile - at least until we find out what happens with the whole conspiracy! I just hate being left without knowing an ending.

Some people say it's the second season, others say it's the second half of the first season. I hardly consider 13 episodes a full season, so I say we're still in the first season.

My hubby came across that show the other day and I guess they were doing like a marathon of the first episodes of the first season so he Tivo'd them all. I don't know there were like 10 of them or something. That was the first that either of us had seen of it and it seems like it's going to be pretty good.

I've been watching it, and the episode we had here last week was so sad!

I quite enjoy it, it's one of the few good shows on tv these days.
