It had potential to be a great match!! I mean the punches they were throwing was crazy.. it just sucked that the ref called it in such a short amount of time!

I'm expecting the punches to be real. I really doubt Matt and Adam sat there for hours together talking about moves to do on each other.

To me.. i started to question the whole lita and matt relationship. I mean IF they were together how BAD was the actual breakup. It just seems ridiculous to me that if this was real that it wouldn't be a smart idea to put them in the ring together. Brad said last night that if I left him for another man and he had the chance to get into a ring with him and go at it that he would probably kill him. The whole situation just seems way to shady for me.

If WWE was really intent on stealing this "the network" gimmick from the old ECW, they could have at least gotten someone who didn't look like such a pansy, LOL.

And WTF is with that guy with green trunks who claims to be from Wisconsin? LOL.

Smackdown scares me

can someone update me on the whole adam/amy/matt triangle? I haven't watched wwe regularly for 2+ years...I know bits and pieces of the story...Amy and Edge hooked up...Matt posted a bunch of stuff on his website, Adams wife posted there too I think...than Vince fired matt for no reason and than rehired him and now matt is randomly beating up edge in hallways with no explanation. and than i guess at summerslam adam beat him in a match?

blah. was the break up real...this makes me wonder how long they were really broken up for before it all happened. any answers are apprieciated! thanks!

Well, your guess is as good as ours, but the story that we're lead to believe is that Amy and Matt were very serious. Matt then got injured and Jeff left the company (eventually for NWA:TNA) and since Vince really had no idea how to fit him into any storylines, he fired Matt.

Apparently they hadn't broken up which is why Matt got so pissed.

I'm not exactly sure (and seriously doubt) if Matt feels the same way about Amy since all of this happened. The only reason that Matt was really back was because all of this happened. The story which was on the Internet started leaking mainstream and people started chanting for Matt everytime Edge did promos. Vince teased Matt's music one week and the reaction from it got Matt resigned with the company.

Apparently Matt wanted a shoot fight with Edge at Summerslam (completely real, no storyline involved), but obviously that wouldn't happen because they'd be risking injury to Edge, whom for the past year they've been building up as a premier star in the company.

Unfortunately for Matt, officials reportedly don't feel that he has much upside outside of this storyline therefore making it hard for him to move up as a solo star. Also, Matt's brother Jeff reportedly doesn't like the way he's handling this whole situation.

Yeah, he'd gotten married quite awhile ago (I think it was a couple of years after he started). After he got married he moved from Toronto to Florida if I'm not mistaken.

He has Sara and 4 children to care for, and he's been in it for well over 15 years. I know that I'm getting his new documentary thing, Tombstone.

3 discs of Mark + me = happiness. -drool-

Also, I think that the Amy/Matt/Adam thing is ridiculous. Lita {Amy} is still with Matt. Yes, they are a real couple.

Additionally, Jericho was only fired because his band {Fozzy} is touring soon. Correct? 'Tis what I heard. -shrug-

I am downloading Summer Slam, and I missed Smackdown Thursday night. I can't WAIT for Monday Night Raw!
