I'm not expecting that type of chants on the scifi network. They are having the shows after the Smackdown taping, so it won't be the same crowd at all.

The show was great, and I'm looking forward to the tv shows. Hopefully there won't be any wwe wrestlers involved in those all the time. I hope Heyman uses the Big Show probably. It sucks that Tajiri and Tanaka aren't staying I would of love to see them every week. The weekly shows should gives us some good wrestling and good storylines.

oh they will be using HBK.. they showed a preview on ECW last night. degeneration x will be at vengance... I am sure they will just let HBK take it easy for awhile. Not put him in to many matches.

What the hell? Are WWE so desperate now that they're actual TELLING the fans spoilers before they happen again?...>_>

Anyways, although I stopped watching after Triple H's disgraceful jobbing at WM and subsequent poor shows afterwards, I wonder what'll happen with the belt too. Surely it's a part of ECW now, but that gives the WWE only one belt.

Probably won't happen, but they desperately need to re-unify the brands now. The phase is over.

Well with all the maint eventers out of Smackdown getting rid of the split would be a good thing. Who's left to go after Rey? Mark Henry? Bastista when he comes back? Booker T? Smackdown took a big hit by loosing Angle, Benoit, and Orton. With the way the match ended last night between Rey and Sabu they could play the injury angle, get rid of the split and have a huge tournament until Summerslam. That gives you 2 months to have the early rounds and maybe keep the final 4 until the PPV. But I doubt they will do that. They'll let Smackdown suffer some more.

It was a little weird to see Sabu wrestle for a title last night after seeing him at an indy show the week before. At least he gave a good match at the indy show and didn't come only for the money like some do.

They should just end the brand split entirely, or make Smackdown actually look good. I mean, it can't be that hard. All you have to do is keep guys on Smackdown instead of moving them over to RAW, ie. Orton. I'm thinking, though, that Cena will have a rematch against RVD for the WWE Title at Vengeance, with Cena winning, and bringing the title back to RAW. The brand split won't be ending I don't think but then again, you never know.

Oh yeah, and how about the Kane vs. Kane storyline. Yeah, the appearance of the fake Kane last week was an improvement over his first week. Let's just hope he's practiced all of Kane's moves, and this fued should be fine. I'm actually enjoying it for one.

I figured Cena losing the belt at One Night Stand was a foregone conclusion... that way they could take the belt off of him without making him look like complete garbage. I "LOL"'ed at the "If Cena Wins We Riot" banner.

I find it funny everything that was going on 10 years ago is kind of recycling itself. Shelton Benjamin is trying to be The Rock, Vince is ruling with an iron fist and has male cheerleaders instead of Shamrock and Bossman doing his bidding, and D-X is back. lol

Oh come on now, you can't possibly accuse WWE of trying to stay connected with the long gone Attitude Era to try and at least touch its former popularity.

I mean seriously, look at the new wrestlers they've got on board. When Chris Jericho left, they didn't try to get a blonde, long haired Canadian with a short-lived interview segment to fill in his 'Good enough for the WWE belt but never going to get it enough' shoes...erm, other than Edge.

Well ok, bad example...how about...when The Rock left, they didn't get some other cocky third generation star, who started his career in a big faction...Randy Orton...

Yeah well...well...Since Stone Cold's left, WWE have NEVER tried to bring back the McMahon feuds, having some wrestler be a badass, kick-ass rebel who keeps comin' back to kick Vince's ass and make his life hell some more...

...

...

...other than Shawn Michaels...

Erm...erm..well you have to admit, the WWE storylines have been fantastic since Stephanie McMahon became the decision maker. Rape, necrophilia, murder, 'comedy' suicide, the John Cena push that made everyone who doesn't fancy men hate him...

WWE's gone down the shithole...hasn't it?...

I bet Paul Heyman will love the popularity ECW is going to get compared to WWE.

I am just generally amused by how since I've been watching wrestling so long I can make a comparison from current wrestlers to old wrestlers and it makes me realize how things never really change. The faces and names change, but the gimmicks always stay the same with a little tweaking here or there. Masters ~ Narcissist/Martel, Umaga ~ Haku, etc.

don't forget

the boggy man = papa shango

there's a ton more too...

btw, am i the only one on here that thinks this past ecw show on sci fi was a piece of crap compared to ECW hardcore shows that were written and run by Paul Heyman ALONE without big brother Vince McMahon and his creative team watching over Paul's shoulders? Look for instance at last year's ONS compared to this years show... Heyman had total creative control with last years with the exception of Raw and Smackdown show stars showing up during the show compared to this years where we get 2 WWE matches in an ECW event. Commentary, matches and story was just better in general with last year's show. This years, the only saving grace was fan reaction to everything ESPECIALLY to Cena and Sabu vs Rey, everything else, to me, was lackluster and disappointing where ECW standards are concerned.
