I dunno how the rest of Smackdown was, but the ending was awesome to say the least. I dunno how many people here may or may have not have seen it, so I won't spoil it. Lets just say though that Batista came back with a bang. It was great. Yeah, he's my favorite wrestler, so I got all excited about it. I also noticed he has a new tattoo on his left shoulder too, so that also excited me some what, cause I'm retarded.

You guys do know that RVD has done weed and Sabu has abused pain killers OPENLY since the dawn of time right? Everybody in the WWE knew of their problems, hell RVD even came out in issues of High Times before. It was only a matter of time. Only thing that's disturbing is the Ohio Hwy Patrol caught them and not the WWE. So much for WWE's intensive drug screening program inacted after Eddie's death.

Everybody knew about RVD, he just needed to be more carefull with the new rules set by the WWE. Too bad he got caught.
Quick Sabu story. His last indy show before the ECW PPV was in Montreal and he got in Montreal the night before. So the owner of the federation took him out to a local strip club and gave him half of the money he was getting payed to be on the show, that's 2000$. Well 2 hours later he asked for the rest of the money, he already spended all of it. I guess he enjoyed the strippers In case you're wondering why I know all this, well I worked for that federation a few times being a referee and half the guys on the roster are friends of mine. ![]()

I've read he had anywhere from 16 to 18 grams of pot. Not what I consider a lot coming from a guy who had "4:20" airbrushed on his tights, as well as the aformentioned High Times article.
WWE's screening program was enacted to test for steroids and other substances, like HGH. This basically so Congess does not come after them like they did Major League Baseball. Eddie's death had them add the cardio testing to it as well. But I believe Eddie's death was mearly coincidental in the launch of the drug testing itself. As far as the acctual testing goes, who knows if they would acctually find, or even care about, a little pot use. And the testing is random. So odds are Sabu and Van Dam hadn't been tested at all. As a side note, it has been said, there is a reason we have not see Chris Masters in a while. One quote was along the lines of, "If you had to guess, you'd probably be right." Or something of that nature. And yes, they did cross the line a few times with Eddie's death. Maybe they can give Chavo and Rey a storyline that somehow doesn't involve Eddie. Hopefully, given time, this comes to an end, but i'm sure they will find a way to use it again in about six months. |
