There's also the 'comedy' suicide attempts and not telling Undertaker that Bob Orton had syphillis or whatever he has in that Hell in a Cell match where everyone 'got busted wide open'. |

But, yes, it will be a big moment when Joe takes the title from Sting, Jarrett or whoever. Same way it was when Christian beat Jarrett at AAO. I just hope that TNA's heavyweight division get what is needs, because right now, it just, to me, seems like it's missing something. I'm not sure what, but I find myself more interested in the X and Tag division feuds more than I care about the heavyweight. But, hey, one can hope. I still think that if both companies compete on the same night, with one overlapping hour, it only helps both shows. I am not giving up on this until it happens. It can, no, must happen! Right!? |

I'm glad I wasn't the only one who thought "where did the rest of Chris Masters go?" ... and you know what, it actually showed in the ring. He didn't look like complete garbage. He actually sold.
As for the Edge & Lita thing, I think just being with her has gotten him completely over. Before he got with Lita, Edge could wrestle a great match and still never got over (everyone knew Christian was the charisma of Edge & Christian, anyway). When they put him against the superface Matt Hardy and paired him with Lita, he started getting legit heat and his promos have kept getting better. I really think they need to do away with the roster split for Raw and Smackdown. Smackdown is painful to watch. The King Booker gimmick has gone on 6 weeks too long, and some of their main week to week acts are muclebound guys who sell poorly, guys who are in the twilight of their career like Tatanka, Finley, Regal, a guy in a dress, and a 7 foot guy who sells worse than Giant Gonzales. Big Show sells better than Khali, seriously. LOL There are a few guys like Mr. Kennedy who at least bring some redeeming quality, but overall it is fairly poor TV. Finley still puts on a pretty good match, though. It is kind of sad that Mark Henry carried Smackdown for months. I was glad to see Carlito finally getting pushed up the card a bit on Raw with his coming feud with Orton. He has impressed me. I still don't understand why Raw is running Duggan out there every week, when they could give that time to someone else. I really think Raw should focus on the women's divison more. Lita and Mickie was a bit rough in spots, but it was also really good in spots. The DX-McMahon thing is getting kind of old, but it still has some legs to it seeing how over DX is. I saw someone on the internet say Cena does his best work when he's in the title hunt and not champion, which I think is true. As a champ he is kind of stale, but when he's in the hunt you almost want to root for him. ECW could be good. I actually like Kevin Thorn, and CM Punk looks alright. Test is still Test. Holly was a nice addition because he always works a stiff match anyway. Sabu and Big Show is a nightmare as a feud, although Big Show is trying, Sabu is just a bit wild for him at times and some spots look really bad. The thing last week with the table and the ring bell was nicely done. I've liked what TNA has done. The fire Eric Young thing is kind of meh, but overall they've had some good stuff going down. I dig the Christian heel turn. I'm just glad this thread is going again. ![]() ...oh, and as for the Trish retirement, I'll miss Trish. I always liked her.

As far as Trish leaving, all is not bad in my mind. From what I remember, they have a decent amount of girsl they can call up. And when Beth Phoenix returns, you can add her to the list. With Beth, Mickie and Victoria, they make up your core division. All three can go. Jillian Hall should be moved over as she can go as well. You then add in the secondary divas, like Candice, Maria and Torrie who are involved in matches, but never truely wrestle, and the divison doesn't seem so bad. When they got rid of the acctual divas who could wrestle a year or two back, it hurt it more. Jazz, Molly and Gail Kim would be nice to still have around, but what can you do.
And honestly, you know every time they come near or to Toronto, Trish will make an appearance, much like The Rock used to do. |

So yeah, Cena won the title again and beat Edge in front of a very pro-Edge/anti-Cena crowd at the ppv... Poor Edge, he looked heartbroken all through his match so it was a dead giveaway that he'd lose... Oh well, here's to ALMOST having Cena finally off of my tv on Monday night wrestling...
Trish retained with one of the worst sharpshooters I've ever seen but eh, I guess she deserved it (never been a Trish fan but I gotta give credit where credit is due)... And all I gotta say is Shane McMahon = hardcore! |
