Well I checked wwe.com just now to see what's been happening since I last saw it...I thought the WWE had already ticked off all the boxes in its mission to become the new WCW, but I obviously forgot one thing: random celebrities.

Kevein Federline V John Cena? And getting involved in his matches? WTF? I suppose he's going to win the title too.

Not only that, but the two major female stars have retired and one of their champions has decided to 'rest'.

Let's see that WCW checklist...

Stars leaving, then joining major rival - Check

Super-fast pushes for big guys - Check

Uninspiring storylines - Check

The reformation of the nWo...er...DX to win needed ratings - Check

Racial stereotype leading to someone having to leave - Check

What I miss?

I stopped watching WWE after the Wrestlemania 22 shambles. After checking back once in a blue moon, what have I found?

John Cena rarely loses a title cleanly and in a match.

When he does lose a title, it's to get a big storyline, he wins it back quickly though.

Khali decimated Undertaker several times and pinned him with one foot, but he taps, despite no working over of the leg or neck, to the 'STFU'. Thus, the first time he ever tapped.

Cena has also made CHRIS BENOIT tap to the rediculous move.

Cena not only beat Triple H, he not only beat him at Wrestlemania, he not only beat him at Wrestlemania in a title match main event, he made him GIVE UP.

Cena was also the first to win the Masterlock Challenge.

Cena is also the first to ever beat Umaga.

Cena's only fans are kids or women who like pug-ugly wrestlers. The cheers/screams for him are noticably more high-pitched than those for other wrestlers.

Cena will beat the shit out of Lashley, who will tap out like a girl to the STFU.

Of course in real life, a giant Samoan , a 7' 3" 400lb+ monster who killed someone just doing a wrestling move, and a 6' something" Marine would tear Cena apart.

But guess who the most marketable wrestler on the roster is? This is because WWE has no competition, Cena will be the champ for a very long time.

And don't even think of suggesting someone like Shelton Benjamin should be champ, he's black.

Like I said, I don't watch WWE and don't know what's happening outside of DX coming back and ECW being as faithful to the real ECW as the WCW/ECW 'Alliance' was to WCW, but the Great American Bash was completely predictable, othr than Hornswoggle of course. I hope he's got the title because he's a midget AND because of his wrestling skills, rather than just because he's a midget.

Honestly, I would say your hoping to much out of the WWE. They don't judge based on skills anymore, but on the wrestler himself. Which is basically why John Cena has been champ for the past century! (rough guess
