Undertaker portrays a dead man. Dead men to my knowledge (mystically imbued with the ability to walk/talk/wrestle/what have you) tend to not feel/show pain as much as others.
As for Taker, the guy is a legend in wrestling. He's on his last legs and whilst I can't comment too much on what he is doing week to week as it's now pretty rare that I see WWE, but the no-selling is integral and very much a part of the character, right from the very start to present day. Enjoy him now while you still can, because you'll miss him when he's gone. |

The dead man gimmick died a few years ago. He's not so much of a dead man nowadays even if he tried to. He killed it himself when he become the lame american badass or whatever crap that was. The magic of the Undertaker died a long time ago, that's when he became like every other wrestler. If he's really on his last leg, he should be passing the torch before leaving.

Atleast when he was American Badass.. he got to ride a motorcycle down to the ring instead of this slow ass walk he has going on :P He's a tall man which means he can take BIG STEPS... So IMO USE THEM BIG STEPS AND CARRY YOUR ASS DOWN TO THE RING ALREADY!!!!

At Wrestlemania he ws supposed to "float" to the ring.
However, at one point, the camera clearly showed the metal rails he was standing on.

Does anyone know the name of the song that played during the Lord Alfred Hayes tribute this past week on RAW? It sounded like Dave Matthews to me, but I'm not so sure and since he has so many songs I haven't been able to pinpoint it down yet. To top it off, iTunes only has his most recent album and none of the songs on that sound like what was played on RAW. The song sounded special and I'd like to buy it because I just recently lost a family member, and the lyrics that I could hear while they were playing it sounded very touching.
EDIT:Ack nevermind! I found out it's In Loving Memory by Alter Bridge. Haha I guess my ears don't know dave matthew's voice as well as I thought. Sorry about that! Last edited by Drizzt : 07-30-2005 at 07:13 PM. |
