that fan from switzerland...
Thanks again for commenting. I’m really glad that you liked these, and I agree that it is difficult when it comes to endings. I try not to think about it too much though, and sooner or later they all end themselves. Thanks so much for commenting again. Ashlee Your comment was an excellent one, I think that Obvious is probably my favorite out of all of these, so I’m glad that someone liked it. FelicityS Thanks for stopping in again as well. It’s really great when people come back and comment, and I really appreciate it. So I thought that I’d let you know. proudindividual Thanks for reading, and thanks of course for commenting. It means a lot. Hopefully you’ll read more sometime. ConsignedOblivion Thank you so much for your words. I’m sure that I’m starting to sound like a broken record, but it really means a lot. Every single comment. Shivercide Yours was by far the shortest of all of these comments, but I honestly think that it affected me the most. I can’t possibly explain how much I appreciate it. Thanks so much.

Nameless, thank you for paying me a visit! Your work is truly remarkable and I too am glad to have entered your thread. I am the kind of person that needs to be drawn in by a poem with its first few lines, or else I refuse to continue reading. Your work does that very easily and I've enjoyed reading Assimilation and Sirach 40. I'm looking forward to reading everything else you have posted in here.

Thank you so much for your flattering comment. I'm glad that you enjoyed reading. Perhaps you'll read agian sometime. And thanks to everyone else again as well. I'm hoping to have some more stuff up over the weekend, but until then, I just want you all to know how much I appreciate your comments and PM's. Have a great Friday!

Beneath the Moonlight: Kiss me, On clouds that glide, Beneath the moonlight. Where only sighs can stir the silence. Breathe deep, This golden air, so soft, Inside you... Not noticing your hair, Fall in waves around your shoulders. *** You invade my mind; Touch your lips to mine. This is the, best part, Of life *** Close the windows, It's getting kind of cold. But since you're here, I know I'm not alone. Seems the streets, Are covered in snow. I'm glad that I don't have a place, I'd rather go, And so, Honestly grateful. *** Cause you invade my mind; Brush your lips, Gently, over mine. This is the best part of my life. *** It's been so long, Since I haven't felt alone. It's just you and I... ... Dancing on the clouds beneath the moonlight.

Aww, that last one sounds so softly delicate, but has so much power involved in it. I can almost taste the emotion in every line...

Shivercide
FelicityS Ashlee Thanks again for all of your comments. I’ve been interested to see what people think about my sudden brighter perspective. I’m writing about love again for the first time in a very long while, so it’s kind of embarrassing. : ) Thanks so much; I can’t tell you how much I appreciate it. Here's a few different ones about the same thing I guess. I used the same line once in both of them on accident, but I think that like them the way they are. What do you think? --------------------------------------------------------- Ar Maidin: What would you like me to write about my lady? Should I write to you of your warm and welcome smile? Perhaps your soft and fragrant hair… Perhaps the way it feels, To stare deeply into you… You leave me trembling. How is it possible, for such as you to exist? And why does it feel as if I’ve been waiting for you? Perhaps the future, is but a wish, Begun, in a single moment…. With a single passionate kiss… -------------------------------------------------------------------- -sonnet The Lady of the Isle: At a glance, the moonlight seems to seep from, Her golden, amber locks of fragrant hair. And when she sings to me, so sweetly, some, Would say that I’m unworthy; I don’t care… ‘Cause every time we part, I know it’s true, And frozen in my mind; there; the erudition, That though the earth still lives; the sky still blue, I am incapable of sedition. I am all absorbed, hollowed out and weak; Tempted and intrigued by her lovely face. Rare, to find myself unable to speak, Before, such classic beauty, and such grace. Sensual, and beautiful are her ways, So in my mind and heart, she’ll pass her days.

"Lady of the Isle" is so wonderful. I felt purely at peace when I read it; the poem has such an angelic feel to it, and the rhythm flows so smoothly that it coincides with the lady in mention.
