Question...um...I suppose a real easy place to catch them would be before the concert (before the soundcheck) outside the busses, or after the concert, yes? But...when any of you guys go, is there some huge crowd by the tour bus or what? I dont wanna um, battle my way through to meet them- Other people should have a chance, too. But, anyway, yeah, is it really crowded and is it a real push-fest near the busses before and/or after?



PS. If you cant tell, ive never met them- nor been to a concert yet...v.v

That's not really a question you can answer. Depends on where the concert is. If its a place where alot of hardcore EV fans are gonna be then youll have alot of people waiting back there. If its a smaller place where not alot of people do that then you might be lucky. As far as pushing goes it's not a typical meet and greet situation where they can control the environment. You're gonna be pushed unless they tell people to line up or something. If that bothers you then I suggest you not do it at all cuz you will get annoyed. The best time is before the show because afterwards itll be way more crowded.

yeah, the manager guy told us to line up but there were only like 15 of us if that.... there was no pushing and everyone was pretty laid back.... it was pretty cool.

How do you even go about meeting them? Every concert i've been to, (5 in all) I couldn't even FIND the buses. I found the openers' buses... And do you go before or after the concert? do you have to wait like... allllll day long? or can you just leave the concert during the last song and meet them out there? how does it all work! All i want to do. is shake amy's hand. And tell her I love her. And possibly steal her and make her sing a duet with me.

Well, i've been to three so far. I've only met John and Rocky outside the Rave last September. It was after the concert, we waited there till about 2 Am when the busses left, but Amy and Ben never came out. Your best bet is to hang around before the concert by the busses, generally in the back of the venue. The band has been known to site see during the day. Just my opinion.

i'm not an expert, but i've been to 4 shows and i've met at least one of the band members at each of them. it honestly depends on the venue and the time...i think it is much easier to catch them before the show than after. most people would figure to wait after the show so there'll be a huge crowd. it's sometimes all by chance and most of the time, a lot of waiting...but well worth every second.

at the House of Blues in Las Vegas, there's an area for tour busses around the back of the Mandalay Bay casino that non-workers really aren't supposed to enter. me and 3 other people just waited at entrance of it for a good few hours after the show. John came over and signed autographs and took pictures and we got a wave from Amy and Terry.

at the Roseland Ballroom in NYC, me and my friends got there ridiculously early in the a.m. to secure a front of the line spot. right around soundcheck time, we went around the back of the venue with about 10-15 other people i'd say, where the tour busses were just parked along the sides of a street. Amy, John, Rocky, and Will came over and Terry popped outside, but he was on the phone.

at the Avalon in Boston, the tour busses park on the sides of the street right in front of the venue cause it's an entire strip of clubs all lined next to each other. we didn't go over to the actual tour busses because we didn't want to hound them or be all disrespectful, so we just stayed along the other side of the street where we could see them walk over... got to meet Amy, Rocky, and John again before the show and some of the members from the opening bands as well. we didn't get Will and Terry's attention though...

oh and the first time at the Avalon back in September, i didn't really have any luck before the show, but i waited by the busses with a bunch of people afterwards and John and Rocky came out. there were quite a few of us, but everyone was respectful and no one pushed or anything.

1) i wouldn't do that because you'll miss the performance and that is something you most definitely do not want to do.
2) they usually(but not all the time) don't come out for a while after the show so you'd just be waiting til then anyway

i guess it really depends on each location, but those were my concert meetages...

Yeah I guess it comes down to the venue/time/and a bit of luck-I met the guys/amy the first time I saw ev. live, so that was pretty fortunate

there's A LOT of waiting involved. A LOT. i went to the roseland ballroom concert in NYC. i originally wanted to go at 1pm (EST) but my friend is a HUGE procrastinator. we didn't get there until 648 (i still remember, i was so excited!!) and doors opened at 645. traffic didn't help either. there was an accident on a highway leading to NYC (Rt. 3, for those familiar with the tri-state area). again, i wanted to be there at 1pm but when i found this board, registered, and searched...there were people who were there at 11am!!!! so yeah, A LOT of waiting. also, i wanted to meet them after the concert but my friend is an EMT and so am i. it was his duty night and he was my ride so i couldn't stay.

I haven't met them yet because both times ive seen them i went by train so couldn't hang around. Well i could but i'd of been stuck in London all night lol
