Yay. And yes, America needs the same policy, in my opinion. I would think that would be common sense, though...

Where do you draw the line? Have you seen the acts that they're considering terroristic these days? I need to be able to trust my government a little more before I gave them that much freedom to evict people from my country.

The title of the thread got a mental image that I may not get out of my head anytime soon :-/.

Having said that, I think this is going to be wait and see. I don't know how well this is going to work. This could lead to some very nasty stuff. Racial profiling, incidents like what caused that person to get shot a couple of weeks ago, etc.

I can understand why the rules and such would be put in place, but Blair had better be aware of the consequences because there will be a lot of them especially from the two that I'd just mentioned.

It has nothing to do with not trusting your government to do the worng thing it's trusting them to do the right thing. What is right for those that it needs to protect. It is very simple. Lay some guidelines down, as the Brits, and stick to them. The problem is that we can't agree on guidelines because some people think that there is not a problem. When it happens here them it will be to late.

The right thing to do is to protect the rights of Americans not give those who are not the right to do as they wish. Become a citizen and then have all the rights of an American not get into this country and hide behind the laws that make this a great country. Sure you will have rights but not nearly as much as a citizen. That's all I am saying..

this is nothing new, the only difference is now people have seen islamic terrorism in this country, they will back it.
Britains been trying to introduce this for ages, however, we have a law that states we will not extradite someone who is likely to be killed if they return to their country. this includes say criminals who will recieve the death penalty if they return to the U.S
there's going to be backlash from this though.
