http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20050911/..._ge/gas_prices

Price of gas in the USA averaged $3.04 / gallon, According to a regular survey. If my "Gas prices are way to high" W&C thread was still around, this would be a capstone moment for it.

This is the highest price ever in the United States, in both nominal terms and adjusted for inflation. We beat the equivalent of $3.03 set back in 1981. That smarts!

Hopefully, what goes up comes down just as quickly.

We are at $3.08 this morning for the cheap stuff. $3.18 midgrade and $3.27 for premium. Ridiculous!

Check this shit out. I live in a county next to White County and there are always people parking their cars on a road behind my house and walking into the woods. One day I asked them what were they doing and they said collecting arrowheads. Never thought anything of it until now. Next time I see one I will say in my native american voice. 'Go away High Arrowhead hunter."

LA gators in L.A. Yikes!! Hope the gator doesn't get armadillo indigestion.
Update: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/9323046/

They got the gator. Hahahahaa. Looks like gator nachos for LA, considering tourists were throwing it tortillas and raw chicken out to attract it.

The title of the article is cool. "Alcoholics getting help from new drugs".

A gold chain and crucifix melted around his neck when a lightning bolt struck Jason Crawford in the head while he and his brother were riding dirt bikes in Gunnison County.
