Recommendations for Fantasy Novels

Anyone have any good ones?

I'm looking for a good series more than just a single book (i tend to read pretty quick)

I have read everything by Feist, Eddings, Gemmel, Goodkind, Jordan, Shillitoe, Sara Douglas, George RR Martin, Paolini and Tolkein (obviously).

Any help appreciated.

Dang, I was going to come in here with the first recommendation being everything from George R.R. Martin. XD

Okay, then next I would suggest reading Robin Hobb's books, especially the Farseer Trilogy. It's one of my favorite series ever. And for Within Temptation fans, it's also the series that the song Hand of Sorrow is based on (had to throw that in there, hehe).

I would also suggest Jacqueline Carey's Kushiel series - it begins with Kushiel's dart and is absolutely one of the best books I have ever read.

Both of those series that I listed are quite different types of "fantasy" - they take on a more realistic form for me. Though they have their own worlds, much of the rules are the same as this one, and I'm more reminded of a realistic medieval times setting.

I say this because, uniquely, all are worth checking out for both fans of fantasy and non-fans of fantasy (hint hint for others looking at this thread, lol).

Oh, gawd, that book pwns. Also one of the best books I ever read, only read Kushiel's Dart though.

Tad Williams Shadow March series, is stunning, I love it.

Mmm, there's my 2 cents. I'm actually looking for some more good ones myself so if I find anymore good ones, I'll let you know.

Thirded! The Kushiel series is my all time favorite fantasy/alt.history series. The mythology is amazingly rich, the characters are wonderful and the stories are great.

Jennifer Fallon. She's an Aussie author so I don't know how easy it'll be to get a copy of her books, but if you do, pick up the 'Tide Lords' series.

I'll have to bookmark this thread, I love fantasy and I'm gonna get all of your recommendations eventually

my recommendation... Simon R. Green's 'Nightside' series... I haven't read all the books (it's an ongoing series the 12th issue is due in 2011) but I love what I read so far and Simon is pretty much my favorite fantasy author. He has a bunch of other book series but I haven't read any of them yet... will do eventually.
I do suggest you google all the recommendations here, see the reviews, plot summary and the like. I do it all the time because I might not like what someone else does.
