Alright, here is officially how the rep now works.

Everyone can leave positive rep
Everyone can see who left them rep
Everyone can choose to hide their rep points from others

Only Mods, Super Mods, and Admins can leave negative rep.

If there are still rep issues with your account let me know

Sorry to be nit-picky. I have this one request and then I leave you to it XD Are you able to reset my reputation? A lot of bad rep has been thrown around left, right and center in the past and I'd liked to start anew. Thanks.

did you do something to deserve the negative rep? Just kidding...seeing as alot of your rep seems to be personal attacks through the rep system then yes I will reset it. If anyone else has rep they would like me to review just let me know. Your rep will be reset in a sec.

I'm sure that some may disagree but I feel that all members should be allowed to leave negative rep.

The way the system was ensured that no one could pile the neg reps on because you could only leave one a post/to a person before having to spread more rep around.

Honestly, people who have a lot of neg rep earn it by being disrespectful.

I think the rest is fine. If people want to turn off their rep system that's great. But I just think the rest of us should have to freedom to rep negatively as well.

What is the point of having a reputation system if you can only give good rep? It defeats the purpose.

I'm not looking for an argument here. Just an opinion to be considered.

thus far from the rep I've looked at there are a select few who loved to personally attack via rep. Thats not going to change if I leave things the way they were. I have to get rid of some of the hate around here. I'm not trying to make everyone love one another, but I do have to make this place somewhere anyone can come and feel semi welcome. It seems alot of people like to begin "breaking down" newbs from the minute they make their first post so as of now the rep will stay as it is. That may change later on but for awhile it will be this way.

I'll review the comments on there and get back to you.

Yes, that was the case. There are/was people on this board that would give bad rep to those that not only supported the band but supported Amy too. And I believe many of us received a 'Fag' comment from Biff who has a nasty habbit of giving bad rep to those he did not like. The bad rep wasn't necessary, it was just a case of they didn't agree with me and so they gave me bad rep.

I personally agree that mods/admins should be the ones to give out negative rep, it will be much fairer that way and people will not have to suffer bad rep simply because they are not liked by another memeber.
