Awesome movie, I found it very hard to follow at first. The second time I watched it I wasn't quite as lost.It is quite sick and actually is on my list of most disturbing movies, yet it is totally brilliant as well.

Where was I all this time missing this topic about Requiem!! I actually watched it again last night. That movie was recommended to me a few years ago, even before it was out on dvd! I had a hard time trying to find a video store that had it to rent. Anyways, I did manage to rent it and it's been in my dvd collection ever since. The only thing that was scaring me at first about this movie was Marlon Wayans! I'm not a big fan of his, and I was thinking that he might not fit in that movie. Well I was so wrong! He completely suprise me in that movie. Ellen Burstyn is incredible also. Everytime I watch this movie I'm glued to it, there's just something about it that captures my total attention. Nothing can take my focus away from it. Easily one of the best movie I've seen even if it's quite disturbing!

Don't forget about the JUICE! The first 2 things are easy, the third one is harder

I was totally blown away by this film. The soundtrack is definitely one of my favorite soundtracks as well. The music was so hauntingly beautiful.

*revives thread*

So I watched Requiem last night. It had been a while since I last did, and I must say, it still fucking rocks.

I still cant believe Ellen Burstyn didnt get any award recognition for her performance..

I had told my friend that I liked Jared Letos acting and she told me to check out the movie. So I did only for that. But it is soooo good. Anyone who hasn't seen it. . . Buy the dvd or run to the nearest blockbuster!

This is the only movie I ever bought before even seeing it. I kept hearing about it online, couldn't find it anywhere to rent so I just bought it. I still don't regret it

I watched this movie for the first time towards the end of last summer. It instantly became my favorite film. I never went to bed so downright depressed than the night I viewed it. I think it was mostly Sara's character that struck me so much. An innocent, helpless, lonely old woman turned into a complete mess. I sympathized for the other characters as well, but felt the whole "well... they were asking for it" thing. Between the music of the film, great acting and the superb cinematography, this movie is amazing. Absolutely brilliant.

check out the website if you haven't www.requiemforadream.com ...pretty neat.
