If I remember correctly there's a R rated version and an unrated version of the dvd. They have the same cover so it's hard to see the difference and I really don't know what they cut in the R rated version.

I think we have an M rated version here, can't be sure, but I am 100% sure it's not R rated-although the ratings for film and TV are more relaxed here.

omgsh no, not for a 13 year old. I saw it when I was 16 and I was definetly not ready for what I was going to see. My sister is 13 and wants to watch it because she loooves jared leto (as do I) but I won't let her. I'm a mean big sister. =p

Haha, no. You're not mean, you've got common sense. Jared Leto's great and all, but she needs to wait awhile for this one.

Love the film, love the soundtrack, love the actors, love the story. I can't handle how good it is.

seriously, don't let her watch it until she's like 18, and than you can't stop her anyways. this movie is just fucked up.

haha yeah, well she thinks I'm a meanie. She was sneaky...she swaped the dvds inside of requiem and donnie darko and was like "I'm gonna take Donnie Darko to (insert friend's name here)'s house is that ok?" And I said yes...but then I opened it to check if the dvd was in there and I caught her! She was so mad. So now requiem has to stay in a hidden place.

And yes, I can't handle how good it is either. I am actually in the process of choreographing a dance to the overture. <33

Haha lol, what a sneaky lil' sister you have there. Well, I guess you can't blame her for trying to watch a good movie, although she's far too young to see it.
