Requiem For A Dream [MOVIE]
So I searched and was quite surprised I didnt find a thread on this amazing movie. Im betting there are alot of people here who have seen this , but I bet there are alot more who havent. And because you havent , the people who have seen it are cooler than you. So go get it now, k.
you can check the trailer here. http://us.imdb.com/title/tt0180093/trailersSo , there is so much to say about this movie from the acting(Ellen Burstyn), to the phenominal cinematography, and the amazing soundtrack by the Kronos Quartet. One of the greatest soundtracks imo. I can listen to it all the way thru without skipping a track which says alot. Most cd's you cant do that w/, let alone a soundtrack. Ellen Burstyn gives one of the greatest performances I've ever seen, I dont know how in the hell she didnt get nominated for it.. Marlon Waynes is also great, not his typical funnyman role. The dude can really act. So what do you guys think about this movie? |

OMG I <3 this movie more than Gina Gershon, Shakira, and Christian Bale all put together
![]() Dude, you rock for making a thread about this. *** If you like Requiem For A Dream, you should check out Pi, the other movie by Darren Aronofsky. It's definitely a mind fuck... I love Aronofsky's work, too bad I can't get ahold of his older movies, because they were simply college films. **still lookin' though **And the soundtrack... WOW... There's a song on there, I believe it's the Summer Overture by the Kronos Quartet and Clint Mansel that is used in Lord of The Rings: Two Towers. Pi has come stuff by Clint Mansell I think too, and lots of Orbital. Orbital is AWESOME. *** To anyone who has NOT seen this movie, PICK IT UP NOW! Your life depends on it... ![]()
