Plot Summary: The second sequel to the $100 million hit, "Resident Evil: Extinction" is again based on the wildly popular video game series and picks up where the last film left off. Alice (Milla Jovovich), now in hiding in the Nevada desert, once again joins forces with Carlos Oliveira (Oded Fehr) and L.J. (Mike Epps), along with new survivors Claire (Ali Larter), K-Mart (Spencer Locke ) and Nurse Betty (Ashanti) to try to eliminate the deadly virus that threatens to make every human being undead... and to seek justice. Since being captured by the Umbrella Corporation, Alice has been subjected to biogenic experimentation and becomes genetically altered, with super-human strengths, senses and dexterity. These skills, and more, will be needed if anyone is to remain alive.

I am so excited that my favourite character Claire Redfield is in this film. I hope it kicks ass like the first 2!

The best bet for information until there is an official site is probably wikipedia.

There's a fair bit of infro on there already, so it's a pretty good thing to off for now.
It mentions somewhere on the page that Alice is going to psychic, fine, whatever. I just hope they don't over do that little number, because I have a horrible sneaking suspicion it could ruin the movie for me.

Only other thing I'm not sure about is who is playing Claire Redfield. I've never particularly liked Ali Larter as an actress, I just personally don't think she's all that good.

A plus that the surving character's will be back though, I was hoping they wouldn't just section it off and start again with charcters.
Just have to see how the plot pans out, it has the potential to be a pretty good third run. Just hope it using the potential.

All things considered, that last part could be said about ALL the actors/ actresses in both movies. Acting was hardly the movies' strong point.

The first one was a pretty good action movie. The second one...well I'm just glad I didn't pay to see it.

Truer words have never been spoken. Milla Jovovich has no more acting skills than Kate Beckinsale.

First movie was good, second was ok but ran on the cliched side more than the first one. Especially where the dialogue was concerned. I'll go see this movie, I just hope they don't screw it up by overdoing Alice's newfound abilities. Though it would be fun to see her go balistic on Umbrella. *thinks of the unlucky security guard in the surveillance room at the end of the second movie*

I've never been a huge fan of the games but my interest has grown recently. I own RE Zero and Four because my brother loves the games. I'll have to pick up my GameCube and check them out.

they're two of my fave actresses. To each their own I guess.

Anyway, I can't wait for this movie, I loved the first two, and I love the games too. I'm glad Claire will be there, don't know why she wasn't before.

I hope Alice kicks Umbrella's ASS!

They're both very pretty (I want to cut off Kate's hair in Underworld though) but whenever I watch any of their movies they play shallow characters and can't seem to be able to show any emotion whatsoever. I would have liked Van Hellsing if Kate wasn't in it. *insert "smexeh" translyvanian accent* "Who will show courage if not for me?"

Does anyone know the international release date? WikiPedia only tells about releases in the United States, Europe, and Mexico.

UK 7 September 2007

which probably means that other country's release dates haven't been... released yet, lol
