Resurrecting old threads - EvBoard

I've noticed that some threads that were previously locked have been unlocked and have generated some interest. I was wondering if we could possibly unlock the girly thread (I know Mel and Karen remember what I'm talking about.) It was wildly popular and there are lots of ladies here who may want to discuss girly issues. If I'm not mistaken, it was closed by some haters *cough* men *cough*. I searched for it though, and couldn't find it

I know its been locked for like 3 years, it was one of my fav threads of all time

EDIT: I noticed in searching that all the threads whose last post was between 1/25/05 and 6/14/05 are gone. If I'm not mistakedn, the girly thread was locked between that time

AGREED! Let's start a new one! The boys can have a thread if they REALLY want one, but let's be honest... how often do boys talk to each other about their boy problems? Not NEARLY as much as girls... and that's the truth. We need a girly thread. Where else can we put our period juices?

Yay, I am excited! I wish we could get Deinna's butt back over here, she was teh girly thread mommy! Anyway, if anyone can find the old one, that would be awesome, but in the meantime, I started a new one!

I think the original thread was in the old Whine and Cheese forum (before it turned into Advice) so it probably got purged. I could be mistaken. But I think it'd be nice to begin fresh, anyway. For some reason new threads get the most attraction, hehe.

It was Teh Torey's thread and is no longer listed for her (even in her deleted threads). It's pretty safe to assume it was either lost in the server wipe (January-June '05) or was completely deleted. It's sad, twas a classic.

Sure was. I remember that thread, it was probably my favorite of all time. And there were a few men lurkers in there every now and then, sneaky ninja-like men...

We don't! We talk about sports, women, cars and well women. It makes no sense to start a thread like this though because there are like 2 guys that still post here.

I think the main idea of mentioning it was so the guys wouldn't feel left out.

If nothing had been said, one of you probably would have gone, "What? Why don't GUYS get a thread of their own?? No fair!!"
