Allius thanks sooooooo much. i love that my writting has meaning to someone else besides me. it truly means alot and also helps to know that you aren't the only feeling a certain way and stuck in an uncomfortable situation. if you ever and i mean ever need someone to talk to i am here...
i hate the feeling of being alone and the suffering it brings i have gone through to much first with my sisters hospitialisation 2 years ago and now.

statue still

Make me stone
A statue still
Calm reflection
Rest in peace

War rages round
Another will fall
The battle toll
Only rises

Fire and pain
Burn and heat
Facade unchanged

Smooth white face
Chiselled blank
No contemplation
No deliberation
A world of pain beneath

Make me stone
A statue still
I do not know me
Can not let it be

Made of flesh
Made of bone
Yet you never see
Damage to foundations
A hidden crack
A fatal flaw

Statue still
No more

! Your writing realy does mean alot to me and I realy love it. If i've realy helped at all are just made you feel less alone now you know how I feel when I read your stuff.

Now about the new poem. I loved it! I like the way you used statues as a metaphor(or is it a similie.) I've always found statues beautiful but ill look at them in a new way after reading this.

You are incredibly talented! I don't always come across poetry that is so emotive that I really feel something.

I'd have to say I also relate to a lot of your poems. I really like Forsaken

i find the bush down the road from me a great place to unwind and de-stress. i find the wildness and untamedness of it so peaceful. i shall have to take some photos.

deep bush still
find me at its heart
hidden in the calm
lost within the wild

wind swept branches
bent bows
staring at the ground
forgotten to reach
for the sun

broken limbs
drying sap
wounds i can
relate too.

tangled weave
branches entwinned
a thick leaf canopy
hides the dry
hides the daught
lack of emotion

burnt to the core
but new green growth
life begins to start again
after distruction
it shall begin again

deep bush still
find me at its heart
hidden in the calm
lost within the wild

all the quite
it teems with life
in the still
i am with me

thanks also to Istimiel, what you said was soooooo nice i am glad so glad when people can relate to what i say.
imagery is my way to say what i need becuase i am unable to get past my boundary and say exactaly what i feel.

That last one was great river.That bush realy sounds beautiful.Im kinda jealous.Wish I had a place so beautiful to go to. You do use imagery realy well.You made the place seem so real but you also showed the emotion attached to it too.Nicely done!

I agree with Allius yet again! Before you posted links to the photos I could already see the place you were describing. I can really tell how much you like the bush! I relate to that, where I grew up we had bushland right across the road, just like you described! Just looking at it, or wandering through it makes you feel at peace.

~
a small spark
a flame ignites
fire takes it hold
bush to long dry
so long no rain

another word
another fight
fear takes it hold
life to long numb
so long no love

red brown earth
dust raised swirls
revealing imperfections
cracks and fissures deep

pale cold skin
shadows under eyes
showing signs of wear
hurt and panic raising

soon the rain will come
giving back life
cooling and healing
turning back time
browns to greens
leaves unfurl
hope for a new begining

welcomming safe heaven

the tears will come
giving up the truth
soothing and clearing
reliving old wounds
from numb to hollow

searching for heaven

indulging in a memory
of dew fresh
on my skin
the scent of rain
encloses me to
a peaceful time

i feel the dust
the dryness
of my being
