cooling and healing
turning back time
browns to greens
leaves unfurl
hope for a new begining

this is the kind of thing I always think when I visit my family and see how the land is going...and my family too for that matter

it has been so long since i have entered this thread. it has been a while also since i had written anything. except these two wich i will now add.
i have to say though after reading through my old stuff. these two seem weak.

lies beyond

my eyes shut
im in the dark
but i know
what lies before me

each detail each flaw
as i have been
here before

polished wood a
darker grain
the surface smooth
and whole

what is ahead
i am unsure
it is why i stand
and it is why i wait

my outstreached
cold brass to touch
i am frozen to
my place

all my possiblities
are causing me to fear

if i open
i take a chance
what will i leave behind

an open door
another closes
no chance to turn back time

i hesitate
my hand pulls back

my eyes shut
i am in the dark
i don't know what
lies beyond my door

merry-go-round

bright flashing lights
distinguished only from
the present night
bleeding into one

the merry-go-round im on
leaves me lost and lonely
disorientated
i wait for my ride to slow

the noises shatter silence
an angry buzz
a monotamous tone
rising above my
conciuos form
blindly numb

the merry-go-round im on
leaves me hurst and cold
disorientated
i wait for my ride to slow

overwhelmed by i what face
i close my eyes against the glare
i try to stop
to scream
i wait for my ride to stop
i wait for you
for you to tell me
it is alrite

Shielded
Removed from all

Kept in a safe house
Under lock and key
Filtered light
Awakes you
Sleep through all

Cushioned cosseted
Safe from harm
Peaceful dreams
Fulfilled days
Hope for all

Keep you hidden
Shut away
Let the bruising show
Reveal your open wounds
Raise your battered voice
Uplift your tear streaked face

Removed from sight
Know you are still there
Do not let the darkness deceive
Do not let your silence delude

i wrote this yesterday at work i had free time in which i wrote this and play minesweeper. fun fun fun fun

Alone at the end of my tunnel
Standing hidden in the shadows
Created by the exit
Another step Iam in the light

The final step is the hardest thing
Made it through the dark
Conquered all my hurdles
But I stand alone

Make the move into the world
Have longed to join
So long dreamed for
Hesitating I wonder why

Blinded by what seems pure
All that shines
All that burns
Reflections of perfection
Never knew of the pain

Having trouble coping
Turn to re-enter the darkened tunnel
Only to find it missing
The tunnel it seems never ended

Lost within the labyrinth
The tunnel, the hurdles
Minds hazards
The tunnel never ends

I really liked merry-go-round, it felt alot more vivid and imaginative then what you normally write, which is a good thing

I especially liked this stanza

thanks ashlee again you have given me great feedback hopefully more will turn out more vivid i am trying a new style of writting.
fingers crossed.

but here we go i finally set up a photobucket account here is a very simple editing all i had to use was playing with contrast and exposure also i had the basic paint program all computers had to use.
i shall try more later with a new paint program i have but here we go...
