Don't worry you're not alone. I got pissed off at Star Ocean:The Second Story one time when I was literally one step away from the exit of a tough cave, and then it sent me into a random battle where my characters were all too worn down on HP to fight the monsters. No problems I'll just run away, but wait none of the idiots in my part were able to run away even though I was doing it from the very start of the battle resulting in Game Over. I ripped that disc out and threw it against the wall about a good five times before I calmed down. To this day I still have not gotten around to buying the game again so I can try to beat it.

too bad we dont live closer together.... I been playin Live Action VTM for about 7-8 years now and tabletop for about 5 or 6... im huge into RPGs wether it be a video game or a pen and paper game.. i mean i play a table top star wars game every thirsday nite... before that i was running a D&D campaign for the longest time... lol.. I still play my Final Fantasy 1 for Nintendo.... still my fav FF to date.. i mean geez... for the time.. looking back on what they had to werk with its one of the best games ever...
another one i got to beta test is Star Wars Galaxies.... awesome game...

it was the part where the evil witch had rinoa tied up to her, so when I tried to kill her, I would kill rinoa too. *urge to kill...rising*

Yeah, you just Lionheart Sorceress Adel right in her eye and that messes her up pretty good. Hint: the limit breaks only hit Adel. You can cast cure spells on rinoa and give her potions and stuff to keep her alive.

Ooooi. That's where I got stuck in the game too, and I've never gone back. It seemed like nothing I was doing phased Adel in the least, and all of the monsters in the area gave me like, 1 exp point. I hate that game because of it.

The EXP that you gain in that game never changes, a monster gives you a set amount of exp and you get that no matter what. When I started playing, I got Squall up to level 15 before I ever went into the cave to get Ifrit. You just get the exp meter up to 1,000 then they level, for every friggin level. It was way too easy to level on that game.

I admit that the first time I got to Adel (i got to her at about level 54 or so) that I got my ass whipped and I didn't want to play thru it again, so I traded the game in. I got it back while waiting for Lunar 2 to come out, and when I played thru that time, I got every Guardian Force most of the cards in Triple Triad, and got insanely high levels. I still have that save on a memory card at Ultimacia's castle. When I fought Tiamat, I had created 300 Firaga spells with an ability Ifrit has and junctioned 100 to my main characters in the elemental defense slot and i was gaining 8,500 life everytime she (yes, Tiamat is a the Queen of all Dragons) cast Dark Flare.

I could never beat Omega Weapon in that game because I didn't have any Holy Wars (makes a single person invincible for a time) because OW has an attack that does over 13k to each person.

The best place for EXP is to fly over to Island Closest to Heaven (or I think theres an Island Closest to Hell too) and build up. Be warned tho the monsters are really tough!! I died a few times when I killed Rinoa and all but I think Flares were a good use of spells to use on Adel.

My bf just got FFX-2 and we've been playing it like crazy! hehe Any hints from those who already have it? and don't say get the guide b/c we already have. What's your fav. dressphere too....I have only seen pictures of the majority of them but I think Lady Luck would be a good one.
