I just thought of, what songs do you all think, that send the most possitive message?
I have a couple in mind such as.....
Good Charolate, Hold On. This really touches my heart, because its all about suicide, and people who have had a loved one that they lost to it. This sends the message that you should Hold On, and really think about things, before giving up.
Simple Plan, Untitled, Thisn song really hits my heart, because its all about the people who have lost their lives due to a drunk driver.
And why it is SO important to never get behind the wheel when your under the influence of alcohol.
There are so many more, What do you all have in mind?

There are many I can think of. But I'd love to see some discussion in this thread... Maybe, when someone lists a song (or songs), they can also leave a few words or sentences on what it means to them/how it makes them feel?

For instance, the song Overcome by Within Temptation has really been helping me get through a difficult time. It's really positive for me, as it seems to describe unpleasant past experiences that are unable to be reversed, but still being able to overcome it and really not being alone in this process.

Our Farewell: Within Temptation: The lyrics are so perfect, continuing on after the loss of a loved one. This song has really helped me in the past.

They are very powerful, meaningful, heartful, emotional, have alot of feeling to them,
each in there very own unique way.
They all make me shed tears, while listening to them, they really touch me so very much,
as well hit me very deep down into my soul.
Ev's song Everybody's Fool, means so much to me, in such a way that.
Every word Amy sings, couldn't be any closer to the truth, about the industry.
Its a tough place to work in alot of the times, and they have to take on alot of
crap, but its just the way you deal with it.
Amy's attitude towards it, couldn't be anymore possitive, and she sets the perfect
example, and she truly is, one of the most courages people.
And couldn't be a better role modle, and a true inspiring person.
Amy is always the kind of person, to always be the one to help someone,
as well, she always sends the most possitive messages out to people.

whisper- this song got me through 6 months of a very hard time while my sister was hospitalised and my life turned upside down. the chorus and the latin at the end. i loved the latin translation

forgiven- within temptation- there is something beautiful and also uplifting in this song even with the underlying note of loss in it

in this life - delta goodrem - i heard this song and loved it, its an up beat fairly happy song and its really good

the dress looks nice on you - sufjan stevens- it starts with lovely lines "i can see a lot of life in you, i can see a lot of bright in you"

dont panic- coldplay- obvious just by the title and the lyrics are amazing as is chris martin's voice,

snow patrol with... the finish line, grazed knees, run and chocolate all for different reason some to do with the lyrics others the beats and also they just bring back great memories

finally paramore stuff i have found to be very uplifting- hallelujah, born for this, thats what you getbelieve me i have many more

I'll have to be a mush here and list "In Her Eyes" by Josh Groban and "I'll Stand by You" by The Pretenders. "In Her Eyes" is about how a woman has stood by her husband/boyfriend through everything, and how in love with her he is. My favorite line is: "I am not a hero, I am not an angel, I am just a man, whose trying to love her, unlike any other in her eyes I am." Its my boyfriend and I's song

And "I'll Stand By You" is just amazing. The whole song is about never giving up on someone, no matter what they go through. That song reminds me of us as well.
