!!!!!no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no !!!!!

You have to keep it!

Those are memories in that book! Now the book itself is!

It might be fun to start a new book, but keep the old one.

I've got a closet full. The oldest one is from when I was 8. It's great to go back and see who you were, and re-experience all of those emotions. Even if they're painful. It helps remind you of who you are. And what made you that person.

That would be such a waste . . .

Yeah, I like to keep all my writing journals...I agree, though some things may be painful, I do like to go back and look through it. It's my journey through growth and experience, and I couldn't forget it anyway. I don't write things down to wallow in pain; rather, to break free from it.

For some reason, I highly doubt the Smithsonian Institute or anything else would buy my journal, anyway. ;)

LOL

Yeah, I didn't think you'd give it up anyway.

I don't wallow in my own pain either. (well, not usually) I learn from it. It's really valuable when something else painful comes along. I feel more prepared to deal with it. And I usually am.

Don;t be so negtive. I think a copy of that would really fetch a pretty penny.

I didn't mean to throw it out, or get rid of it, I meant that closing that particualar chapter in your life and starting a new one might bring you happier memories. Just subconciously, when I would look at one of my books, particulalry one of a bad era, I would start to feel bad, and get bad memories. Although, you have some really amazing work in their, and it could also bring out the best in you by just having it around. It would be tough to top anything you've wriiten in it, as everything you've ever posted is brilliant, but if anyone could, it's you. You always seem to have SOOOOOO mucn creative energy, and I look forward to every one of your posts with much anticipation.

yes i know
you hate me now
too bad you couldn't see
everything
i am,
all the darkness inside me.

it hurts when i can't
talk to you,
of everything i feel,
it hurts when you say
you need me,
then retract
upon your will.

too bad that now you think
it's a sudden change
of thoughts,
a sudden change of dreams,
a soul alone and lost.

if you only knew
that
even in such darkness,
deep down
to the bottom
of my existant
filth,
a tiny spark of light
has always shined

for you.

I'm back after a few months to give advice, and lowe and behold, i have none for this piece. It took my breathe away. It is wonderfully written. The structure, the rhyme scheme, and the overall message is just wonderful! How you come up with these things, i just don't know. Brilliant!

Much Lurv!
