Beating heart,
it bit
so quietly
in the tumults of my
near-forgotten sleep.

Glowing sun
outside my window,
busy rising
steadily...

as only deep inside
my being,
an eternal wintersnow
had fallen.

With one slight touch,
a figurative breath from you,
it all melted
(myself along with it)
leaving icy puddles

and soft-edged colors
once more returning
to my vision.

I will walk out barefoot,
my heart stuck
to my sleeve;
a beating grenade
full of love and fatigued smiles.

I see the beauty in the pain;
I feel the love in all the hurt.
And my heart aches
for you.

You make me whole;
but I am melted.

Just reading that, its like I can feel what you feel, and
I understand.
That is beautiful, as well as very deep.
I can feel it hit my heart in such a way,
that every word said, I can feel every emotion,
and feeling, it really touches me.

I just wanted to make a post to thank all of you, whether you have left a comment in here or just take the time to read. Especially to those who think my writings are worth it enough to keep coming back to.

I usually don't respond to every post that's made in here, and although I try to make thank-yous in other ways, I really just wanted to post something to let you all know it's very appreciated.

I was saved...
to such extent,
and you'll never know just
how dire
my situation really was.

I was saved
throughout a time
I wasn't even asking
to be rescued.
But there you were.

You saved me.
Appeared amidst the gloom
I had surrounded
around myself.
There you were -
glittering light and hopefulness,
honesty and no pretense,
and your pure heart
humming
against my soul.
You saved my life.

You saved every breath,
every smile,
and every tear.

You taught me the best of beauty
in some of the most heartwrenching pain,
as well.

It all started with a treasure chest
and from there it grew.
I give it back to you...

Because you saved me.
In so many ways,
and I can't think or imagine
any life
without you.

Never have I
felt such overjoy
and...such excruciation.
Never have I
felt so full of life,
yet beyond breathless.
Such beautiful contradictions
have never before
touched upon me.

Never
have I cried so much in happiness,
or been able to smile so much
in hurt.

Never have I experienced a more
wonderful,
soul-sweeping
rescue.

In certain moments
the breathing
flows constricted...
an emotional torrent
has blocked it off
and choked
any chance of tears
from forming.

In this moment,
when I cannot cry,
I shall write instead.

I realize
that upon looking away
for even just one moment...
it will still sneak up
and overtake me.
Every drop of profound feeling -
from the ecstatic happiness
to the mindnumbing
ache
that emits from the core
of my soul.

Today,
the latter became tough
to handle.

The pain -
it's coursing through my veins,
burning
to reside in my fingertips...
and then starting all over
with the next beat
of my heart.

It's a raging river of thoughts
and contrasting emotions,
and so much feeling for another
(that holds such a depth
of which there is
no bottom)
that I can only give into
and be forever
carried away...

...forever swept away
in you.
