Yeah, that's why he sleeps there during the summer. He likes the cold from the floor, especially on hot days. It probably has helped his fever as well, since he was diagnosed with Lyme disease earlier in the week. But he mostly sleeps there because it's refreshing for him during the summer.

Thanks milas & Angel333 for the kind words. Losing a long time pet is just like a part of your family. We are doing okay, but the two cats you saw in the picture with him, well they are BOTH now fighting for who is the new alpha male cat here. Pickel is always hanging around the house/sometimes comes inside. His brother Sam is always taking off and leaving. So they are quite amazing when the fight (no real harm, just hard core wrestling), so far.

Had him/her for about 2 weeks now.

I took this one a couple of years ago even though he really didn't want me to.

ok, the whole spider as a pet thing is creepy. i know some people like them... but... its just not normal!!

Hey this one has helped me deal with the evil ones lol.
I hated all spiders till the recluse ordeal.
I wouldn't worry unless you see me posting the brown recluse as pets.
If it comes to that, someone will need to get me some help.

yeah, I know...
it's pretty hilarious also, when you have like... 6 cats, and they're all fighting for your attention....
it was really hilarious, when all six of them try to sit in your lap

and when they can't they start to fight... awww, I miss them... though, I have many cats now, but I can keep only one, and I have to give others away.
