Thank you very much Carmen and myimmortalenemy!!
Yes it actually did look like a carpet BlackMagic and all the fallen petals are gone now from here too. Thanks!! Thanks to everyone for all the great comments! A pic of appletree flowers. ![]() I'd want to just go and walk in the woods for hours and take pictures of everything beautiful that I see and enjoy the nature. On an early morning or late at night. Just to escape from the daily things. But I need a better camera!

Photographing continues..
Hey I love everything fairytale-like myself so thank you Claudine and Felicitys!!
Thanks again myimmortalenemy! Appletree flowers really are beautiful. It's a shame that they last such a short time.Hi Kathy! I'm glad that you checked out my stuff. A big thanks to you girl! These are from the midsummers eve. I was at Nummirock and had the time of my life! The sunset was breathtaking. ![]() ![]()

I haven't checked out your thread in a while, it seems.
I love that photo of the apple tree, it's like the flowers are the source of light in it. The manipulation is great too, although I think you overdone the colours just a bit. But it's not like you were aiming for reality with it ![]() I like the first sunset photo better, because the sea looks some much darker and menacing(sp?) in it. It looks like it's a bit under-exposed, but I like it nevertheless. I am in no position to give any pointers, but I'd avoid taking photos where the horizon is in the exact middle of the photo. That's just something I've read somewhere (although I'm sure I have posted that kind of photos many times ).

Regarding the last couple photos:
The hues in the skyline form the sun and the ones on the water as well are amazing. So bright yet so balanced. It's really difficult to imagine those colors in you head from memory. I like also how you managed to capture the texture of the water's surface. It looks like a good breeze was blowing...or it seems that way. Wonderful work! |
