I am so very jelouse of all of you!!!
The most I can do, is sit and watch. I can't do any snow/winter sports anymore, because of my spine. It really sucks sometimes, But I am amazed, that I can at least walk, considering, I shouldn't be right now.
* Cheers you all on, and gets a race started for all of you*

Did you herniate a disc or something? I'm just curious, because my mom had a hernia in her lower spine (lumbar area I think?). She was a big skier (she's from Austria lol) and now she can't ski anymore. But she got the surgery so in a year or two maybe she will... She also couldn't walk or drive or even sit for the longest time.

Haha.. back on topic.. umm I've decided I might try a black diamond trail on cross country skiing. It sounds mega tough- going up a steep hill with skiis that hardly support your body. Should be interesting, haha. I'll try and post some pictures if I can.

Here are some pictures from last year up in Canada when I went downhill skiing. The mountain is called Mont Sainte Anne. In the first picture you can only see a tiny part of it. In the second picture, I'm on the left and my sister is on the right. We look so dumb in our ski suits haha. In the third picture my sister is helping my dad who tipped over. I love that picture haha.

EDIT: Ahhhh the pictures are tiny! Does anyone know how to enlarge them?
Your mom is pretty lucky, that she might recover enough, that she'll be able to go back and enjoy sking again!
I will never be able to do any of those things for the rest of my life, I have scoliosis, a curvature of the spine. I have already under gone seven surgery's. My entire back is all titainum metal. But, I still do Everything I can possibly do! I hope your mom gets better!!!
BTW, amazing pics, I love the back ground, the mountains!!

Oh my, yes I have scoliosis but it's very mild. Just from wearing a backpack around. I do hope you make a full recovery with those surgeries and that everything works out!

I resized them! So, in this pic the wide slope that is closest to the center is the scariest slope I've ever been on. It's called the Gros Vallon or something. I call it Death by Skiing.

I'm on the left, my sister is on the right. Those ski suits make us look so dumb!

My sister helping my dad up. I was laughing so hard ahahaha.

Crashing is not so fun for me......I do however do it a lot. I am after all accident prone!

Wow,
The other day I went with a few friends to the ski slopes, on
the south side of Ed.
OMFG, I actually went sking, only cross country, but I had the time of my life!!
Theres nothing better, then the fresh air hitting you, and the feeling of all that freedom, and feeling like you can do anything!!
What a rush, and such a thrill!!!

* Go's back a week later *
