As it turns out, I spoke to soon. I was basing a lot of that on experience with other message boards. Turns out, being a n00b here isn't so bad. And using proper spelling and grammar is great. It hardly takes longer and is much easier to read.

Yes, maybe you're right for yourself. But you need at least a little self-confidence to get over the insecurity. I can lurk around the board for years and still not have the courage to say anything meaningful because I'm afraid that somebody won't agree with my opinion and send me in the land of the banned. Sometimes I see people with awful reputation and it's just because they show an opinion. It can be quite stressful to think all the time "What will they say?", "Will they hate me if I say this or that?". I hope someday I'll get used to this place and stop being afraid...

Just so you know, only Mods and Admins can ban you and they never do it just because they disagree with your point of view, otherwise they wouldn't have been Mods and Admins.

There are 14,190 members on this board, 3,657 of them are active users, you really think it's possible that all of them will like you/all your posts?

I agree, being a n00b can be fun! You can show everyone just how awesome you are, and it gives you the opportunity to get to know everyone if you're not shy
