Anyway, my name is Amanda andI began posting on evboard not too long ago. It was a little, um, intimidatnig at first because it was so big compared to the forums I normally post on. I pretty much knew what I could and couldn't post despite the fact that I haven't lurked here for very long. I remember playing around with my avatar and getting a million errors a second. It was either wrong format or too big or too high quality. Damn I hated that thing then. LOL

Anyway, if anyone is reading this welcome to EvBoard and enjoy your stay!

i stared here like in october.. but i got my own account in dec.
yes at first.. u get a surprise hahaha but its easy just follow the rules.. and try to think what u post lol... dont follow my example plz lol.

Well when i got here first i went to that spanish speaking part.. There i felt save... since we dont have a mods that speak spanish soo good to understand us... it was a chaos ... (but now learning how to send a pm to mods to alert about some stupid threads and sutpid ppl it has been saver there now )

First i got like 2 msgs from mods about how i write lol i used to write very much (hahahahahha´´s) if someone can remember...

I think this board has helped me lots... in my english.. haha still sucks.. but when i stared posting nobody could undestand me lol.. just cfw828 he was my savior.. but now i think 50% of what i write is Understandable.

For me, being a n00bie was kind of scary. It's pretty hard to ease into an unknown environment; especially when everyone is already so close. Now that I'm more established, I love evboard! It's probably the best messageboard I've ever been on, and most definitely the most organized. My advice to getting by? Always search! Also, try every possible keyword you can to find a certain thread (that always gets me, I do search! I just don't use the correct keyword). Nonetheless, this is a great place I love being a part of it.

ive tried many of times to fit in here and i joined a while ago now. ive always given up on posting here.....to much head confusion heh, but this time im going to make sure i stay here. i post on the ev board uk and have a heap of posts there, but its time to come here and talk to a variety of people from various places and get along with you all. will be a great pleasure being part of 'THE famous' evboard. lets just hope i dont get head crazed though and make sure i dig a very deep hole for me to stay in here

Ok. I've been on Evboard since January of this year. I know I haven't been here that long but I thought I'd post in this thread to share my experiences with the n00bs. I've been meaning to post in here for a long time anyway.

When I first joined Evboard, the first thing I did was explore the board. It was a bit confusing but I read the FAQ and the sticky threads and things made a lot more sense after that. At first, I didn't post much. I lurked a bit because I knew that this board was very different from any other board I've ever been to. There are a lot more rules and the risk of getting banned is much higher.

Soon, I started posting in threads that were already created. I didn't want to start a new thread because I didn't want to either get it locked or get banned. Eventually, I started a new thread of my own... but that was after I SEARCHED. The search tool is great. USE IT IF YOU DON'T WANT TO GET BANNED.

If I had any questions about the board or the band, I asked the people who I felt knew a lot about the band/board and have been here for a while. If you have a question, don't be afraid to ask someone through PMs. Just don't post it on the board because chances are, it will get locked.

Anywho, feel free to PM me with any questions. I know it's a bit difficult right now. No one likes being new. If you're not stupid, the board will accept you with open arms.
