Honestly, the people here seem a little elitist and downright snooty toward noobs. For example I mistakenly made a post that was already the subject of another thread. So Instead of not posting it and letting me know my mistake via private messenger they post it and then publically berate me. I don't get it. I thought that the whole point of closely watching "noob" posts was to help them not make those mostakes. Not make them look stupid. I came here to discuss a great band not be made public spectacle.So next time a noob makes a post that has already been done please privately remind him/her to use the search feature. Don't drag us out and shoot us. Thanx.

Yeah. I'm a noob. I know what you mean. That's why I'm gona wait a little bit before I post regularly. I don't really like it either.

Sometimes, just sometimes, a post gets through the Moderator Queue that maybe shouldn't have. In those circumstances, someone's idiotic post may well lay them bare to the scorn of the board... but remember, it was their post in the first place.

Furthermore, it's necessary from time to time to let someone post something which is spectacularly dim. This shows other users an example of what not to do... This doesn't happen very often, but sometimes it's just too tempting

Remember, folks... If you want to post something but you're not sure how well it will go over, just PM either your Evboard Guide or a Moderator. We're happy to help and we'd much rather you asked for help than were left feeling hard done by.

It's great being a n00b, I have made so many lame posts, my advice is to stay clear of the debate forum because no matter how succinctly you'll write a post someone will manage to find a fault - not that any of mine have been good.

As a veteran n00b I'd recommend posting in the Ev related threads and steer clear of anything else for a while - It's a jungle out there!
