Type this:

Code:

/nickserv register "yourpassword" "youremail"

where "yourpassword" is the password you want to use to identify yourself, and "youremail" is an email address you would like to use if you forget said password.

To identify yourself, type this:

Code:

/nickserv identify "yourpassword"

This will authenticate you with nickserv and allow you on the channel.

You'll need to use the identify command each time you join the network, or if you have xchat you can set the nickserv password in the option for the channel. In the first screen that comes up when you start xchat, click "Edit" with the relicnet thingamajig highlighted. The second textbox up from the bottom will say something like "NickServ Password". Just put it in there and xchat will automatically identify you when you join that network. I don't know how to do this with mIRC or any other program, because I don't use them. Ask if you have other questions about this and I'll try to explain better.

Take out the speech marks ("). I did the same thing.

BUMP: Edited the main page, added the Chat NavBar menu option, and the following information
