A half decent amount of the time, people in there are going to pick on you and insult you here and there just to see if your skin is thin or not. If you get all emo quickly, it doesn't really help. My first few times in there, ToB was like... what the fuck are you doing in here, you ass... etc.

NOW I'M A MOD.. WTF. Just make sure you don't judge everyone in the channel by a few people. There's a little bit of every personality floating around in there somewhere at times. You can PM me as well if I happen to be in there. Even if you think everyone hates your guts completely, there's always some objective people somewhere.

I haven't taken any of it too personally at all. At least I hope all they're doing is testing the thickness of my skin, lol. Yes, you mod... all of you mods have been great in offering the help. And TatersMomma let me in a lot of the IRC commands and things... so I hope I won't be as clueless.

If you don't act like a dumbass and have something useful to add to the conversation then I think people are generally nice to you. I'm not saying anyone is a dumbass, but if you play your cards right people aren't going to eat you. And you can't take anything personally. If you do, that's too bad for you. Stay home, folks.

Only occasionally is there a serious conversation that everyone is involved in, sometimes there are two conversations at once mainly two friends talking like "HI how are you? *continues*" whilst B00blebot is being witty and changing lyrics, sometimes the room is dead. Mostly everyone is being sexual with each other.

Oscar obviously has some pent up frustration. Yeah there's some people in there who act downright mean sometimes. They aren't a reflection of what everyone thinks. If you want to ignore that and press on for the people who don't start out treating you like shit, feel free. If you can't handle it and feel the need to make a dramatic speech in the channel about it though, stay out. It is 100% guaranteed that you will be made more fun of while you're there, and after you leave. Best bet is to sit around and STFU for several days to see how things work to begin with. It can be quite entertaining if you blend yourself to the environment.

If any channel operator (see list below) gives you shit and kicks you in such a manner that you can't return, or outright verbally abuses you (and I don't mean just having a quick bit of fun at your expense, I mean being a fucking bastard to you) with no explanation and you honestly feel you've done nothing to deserve it, PM either myself or Dhamma with an Evboard PM if we're not in the channel. If we are, PM us there with the commands Dhamma illustrated here. Aside from ToB owning and having ultimate dominion over the channel, Dhamma and I are somewhat in charge of it and the other operators. There hasn't been an issue in that department in months however, and I'm not forseeing one currently, but it's just FYI.

Currently, half-ops are: Katya, Kaydee, Anduril, EmmaTehGoat, orgo, CyberHawk, Jamie, b00blebot, tarbendar, and Biff. They can kick and/or ban you.

Ops are: Brittany, Tracie, Shadowwolf, and Diamon

Super Ops: Dhamma and myself
