I decided to remake the artwork for the Evanescence EP. Since I've already remade Sound Asleep, and Origin's artwork is so good that it doesn't NEED to be remade, I thought this would be great since the EP has very basic, simple artwork.

Its been a while since I've posted anything on here. Unfortunately, I've been a bit too uninspired to make any cool album covers, but I've been taking a shit load a pictures lately. With using just a SLIGHT BIT of gimp, I think I've gotten some fairly ok stuff.

Here are two pictures I took at random times.

Here are a couple I took at Taylor's party. The first two are random shots I took of our friends (the very first one shows her trying to untie my shoe lulz), and the third one I took of Taylor, who didn't really want her pic taken but toooooo bad!

The coloring you added to the photos really makes them shine! I love the purple tint to the last one, great work.

Alright, I took all these this past weekend hanging out with my friend, Jennifer. The first couple are mostly gloomy black-and-white, the rest are more like, trippy, experimental, colorful shots that I took as the day progressed. As you can imagine, it was a very... Unusual day.

(BTW, there isn't one picture in here that I wasn't taken at random, these were all spontaneous.)

The one with the shoes is really cute! Does your camera add the colorful filter to your photos, or are YOU doing that in photoshop/GIMP? I can't even make my pictures look that good

Both, actually. On my camera, I use this feature called Night Snapshot, it seems to make the picture have a very odd... I dunno, warm, burnt-out lighting to it. Its hard to explain. (The second to last picture is the best example of this)

Then, I do this one technique I learned in the curves feature in Gimp to try to give it a more colorful, vintage look to it. Its pretty easy, actually. I'd be able to show/tell you how to do it

The last one is inspired by the game, The Floor is Lava. Just to elaborate on why I photoshopped the dirt to look red.
