Wow, it has been a while since I posted anything in here. Unfortunately, the camera I was using was destroyed in a car crash. So, here are some of the last shots I took.

This was just a random shot I took in my bedroom. Made some origami cranes out of recycled pages from old books.

This picture was inspired by the album Omens by Monarch. I wanted to depict something bright and typically beautiful in a way that looked ominous and sinister.

This picture was inspired by the song Empty Places by The Slow Death. I was going for sort of a desolate and forlorn atmosphere in this shot.

This picture was inspired by the album Widow's Weeds by Tristania. I took this shot at my Grandmother's house, which is located in the countryside. Listening to this album always makes me think of that area, so I wanted this shot to perpetuate a similar Gothic touch with the ivy draped over the old hut.

This picture was inspired by the album Obscura by Gorguts. Just some statues on the college campus in my town. With the dark lighting, I thought it had the same unsettling and almost disturbing atmosphere that can be heard in the music.

This picture was inspired by the band October Tide. Although the music is inspirational, this shot was particularly just influenced by the band name.

Now, this last picture was taken on my mom's camera just today. It's more or less just a photomanipulation rather than real photography.

This picture was inspired by the song Under her Wings by a band called Lethian Dreams. There is a lot of piano in the song, and I wanted to sort of capture the gloomy and ethereal atmosphere of the song.

What software do you use? (I know it is probably somewhere in this thread but my arm will murder me if I flicked through). You got good skills and spatial ability.

Thank you so much! I use Gimp (a program which was introduced to me by the amazing DeMarzi), which is essentially free Photoshop. It's a lot of fun to experiment with, I would definitely recommend it, if you're interested in photo editing!
