Lol, I can get pretty impatient too with these games. It can really piss me off sometimes
But most of the time it's all good Plus the immense feeling of relief when you get past a really difficult part is awesome . I don't like many RPGs because you can spend hours finding something or trying to figure out how to get somewhere, and that really sucks. I don't find it a great feeling at all when finally finding a key or whatever after 3 hours of searching, instead I'd be pissed off at the 3 hours I've wasted. I read a review about Hitman 2. Sounds like my kind of game. I think Ima get it sometime in the future. Right now I'm kinda torn between getting Pandora Tomorrow and a network adaptor, or a couple of multiplayer games. My friends are bugging me to get some multiplayer games for when they come over, instead of those single player RPGs and FPSs and stuff ![]() |

Hitman 2 is really good. It also relies all on stealth, but, obviously, you're a hitman instead of a spy. It can be VERY difficult at first, and frustrating...but once ya get the hang of it, it just gets easier and better. Oh, and a couple good multiplayer games that I've always loved are the Twisted Metal series and GoldenEye (for N64). Classics.

Oooooooh yea, the Twisted Metal series are AWESOME
Damn, even more games that I need to buy. *empties bank account* I liked Perfect Dark better than Goldeneye though. The movements seemed less jerky, and you got more weapons and better graphics. And the best part is, you can customize the entire level - use simulants, choose any weapons (not in sets), and stuff But Goldeneye's still good My friend has it, and that's pretty much all we play at his house Poor X-Box doesn't get any love That's guy's the master of rocket launchers! As long as there's a rocket launcher in the game, he can beat all of us 3 on 1. Aaaaaand, you can't forget Super Smash Bros!!!! Another classic ![]() |

I used to play GoldenEye with friends all the time, we would set up night-long sessions and just go haywire on each other. I always wanted to choose the set of weapons with the proximity mines and build traps all over the place. I always thought the best place for that was in the Complex, with tons of disguised hiding places. I'd always hide in the vent or something with tons of proximity mines on either exit, and when they go off when someone comes by, if they don't die then I'd rush out there and shoot them to death. :D It was also always fun to throw a mine on someone's head. Of course, the reason why I'd die most of the time was to do with my own bombs. :/

Of course you can kill each other in Perfect Dark
!! It's got everything there is in Goldeneye, plus more stuff It's even got a couple of Goldeneye maps: Complex, Facility, and Temple. Eurgh, I hate temple.Lol, you sound like me when playing multiplayer FPSs! My weapon of choice is remote mines. I'd often plant them somewhere and just watch the other player's screens, and blow them when they get near my mines (Too bad it doesn't work against simulants, cuz you cant see where they are!) I'm also good at just using them right up front with people, I can throw them at someone and blow them in midair, whether the mine hits the person of not. It beats rocket launchers and grenades launchers, cuz you have to aim those at the ground or a wall. I'd use proximity mines too, except I kill myself too many times with those. IMO, the N64 has the BEST controller! Maybe it's because I play N64 more than any other system and I'm used to it, but it's got really great controls. The only reason I didn't buy an X-Box is because the controllers are just so damn awkward, even the smaller versions. Same with the Gamecube. Damn, if they made N64 controllers for XBox, I would sooooooooooooo get an X-Box. My friend's got a whole box of those games, which he'd let me borrow for free Ahh well, at least the PS2 games are cheaper. I *NEED* a job! ![]() |

I hated the N64 controller, I had so many problems getting used to it.
I never liked the idea of a 3-pronged controller, and I must say I hope Nintendo doesn't stray back to it in the future. The Dual Shock design (PS1/2) is easily my favorite controller. Actually, if every console's controller were designed that way, I probably wouldn't own a PS2, I would've picked up the Xbox...well, that's not true. Final Fantasy isn't there. But I'd certainly own both. ![]()

I'm OK with just about any controller except the X-Box one! It's so huge and bulky and awkward!! I dun think I'll ever get used to it!
The Gamecube one's OK, it's just that I dunno where all the buttons are (cuz the only time I play it is at friends' houses), but that shouldn't take long to get used to. The Playstation one and the N64 one are the best IMO. |
