I really liked the N64 controller...and yeah Smash Bros. is fun. I have it for the Gamecube, you know the mode where you hit that sack with a baseball bat? I had a friend spend 3 hours one night just trying to get it past 1000 (if it was possible and after an hour or so he found out it was)..that shit was HILARIOUS cause I was upstairs, I went outside and came back, etc. and he was still playing it. It's nothing big, it's just hitting a sack and it's basically over in less than 10, 15 seconds. When he found out he won nothing he was pissed off and went to sleep

The N64 version was great too. If you want, go to www.lik-sang.com and you can probably get a converter there for the N64 controller...like maybe you can play with an N64 controller on the PS2. I know they have it where you can use a Playstation 2 controller on the Gamecube/PC/Xbox or something like that, I forgot. It's basically an import site with a lot of shit you won't see in the US.

I've never played Splinter Cell but when I was in a computer class in high school my teacher and some classmates said that shit was fun. I did like Metal Gear Solid tho, shit was hard sometimes but fun nonetheless

Personally my favorite controller is probably the PS2 or Super Nintendo's..mainly cause I've been playing a lot of Super NES games lately and I also used to have an emulator and a bunch of Super NES games (Super Bomberman's 1 - 5 Mario, NBA Jam, etc.)..plus I used to play Donkey Kong (the series) a lot. That's probably my favorite series ever.

And yeah, the N64 controller was easy to get used to. I probably spent thousands of hours playing it. Seriously, because I had every single wrestling game for it (about 8 or 9) except for WCW Backstage Assault and WWE Warzone (played them both befo tho, at a party, peoples' houses, rented..) and you know, you can edit wrestlers and all that so it was crazy using created wrestlers. Mad fun. And I had Paper Mario, Diddy Kong Racing, Super Mario 64, Mario Kart 64, all that so yeah, it was just more reasons to play for countless hours

But the controllers have different buttons on them! I mean, if you plug a N64 on a PS2, what button's what? And they don't even have the same number of buttons! People come up with crazier stuff every day.

Yeah I know, you can't really configure your own controls, that's the downside to it. And I don't know how the button thing works exactly but all I know is that it's possible to use it on other systems

If you think that's crazy..then you have no idea what else has been released in only Japan

It's more about stealth and control of the character. And also unlike other shooter games, it's soooooooo unnerving!!! Parts of the game I'd be (unknowing) gritting my teeth or something cuz of the nervousness. It's not the actual fighting that's unnerving, it's the sneaking around and knowing that 1 false move can get me caught. And I love that feeling!!

I'm gonna go buy Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow as soon as I'm done this (hopefully I'll have some cash by then ) and play online If any of you have it for PS2, perhaps we can all hook up and play online together

I dun wanna sound like I'm trying to sell the game for the company, but seriously, if you like the stealth and sneaking around type of combat games, go buy Splinter Cell!

(and if you have it and play online, post your username here )
I dun have an network adaptor yet, but it's next on my shopping list, along with Pandora Tomorrow.
am i the only one that dose not like this game?.... gohst recon is a better game IMO
