Splinter Cell
I just bought Splinter Cell for PS2 yesterday, and it's AWESOME! (Played it all day yesterday
) It's very unlike most other shooter games, such as Ghost Recon or the 007 games etc., where you just go in there and shoot everything. It's more about stealth and control of the character. And also unlike other shooter games, it's soooooooo unnerving!!! Parts of the game I'd be (unknowing) gritting my teeth or something cuz of the nervousness. It's not the actual fighting that's unnerving, it's the sneaking around and knowing that 1 false move can get me caught. And I love that feeling!! I'm gonna go buy Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow as soon as I'm done this (hopefully I'll have some cash by then ) and play online If any of you have it for PS2, perhaps we can all hook up and play online together I dun wanna sound like I'm trying to sell the game for the company, but seriously, if you like the stealth and sneaking around type of combat games, go buy Splinter Cell! (and if you have it and play online, post your username here ) I dun have an network adaptor yet, but it's next on my shopping list, along with Pandora Tomorrow. |

I love Splinter Cell. I've finished the XBOX version several times. Eventually I'll pick up Pandora's Tomorrow, although from looking at screenshots it doesn't look like it'll be much different from the first. They did add online play though. That could be interesting. Nothing like sniping your buddies from long range :P

Yeah Splinter Cell rules... i've got the ps2 version... i like the way you have to use the shadows and acutally hide bodies unlike like on the Metal Gear games. Also i just got Splinter Cell 2 for xbox and it rocks, but im rubbish online with it

I can understand how that would be pretty irritating, but it doesn't make it any less hilarious ![]() |

I've played the SC games, but I must say in my quest for stealth action I have elected to defer to Metal Gear Solid. However, I really want to get Pandora Tomorrow so I can play online. Maybe I'll rent it and we'll get an EvBoard game going.

Yea, that'll be awesome! Plus we won't be like assholes and shoot each other in the heads and leave the game
![]() I need to buy a network adaptor though. Damn, no money ![]() |

Splinter Cell rocks.
I beat the first one awhile ago, and I think it was harder than the second. The second one I just rented and beat it within the week. :/ But yeah, it's really fun. It kinda reminds me of Metal Gear Solid, but with less of a storyline (and more realistic), and also Hitman 2 (as far as stealth goes). I get soooo frustrated when alarms go off, though. That's the only thing that's more difficult in the second one. More alarms, more chance of mission being aborted if/when they go off.
