Staind
Didn't think there wasn't a thread for these guys but...
Anyway, I decided to start a thread to inform the board that according to Pause and Play a new album will hit stores May 31st, 2005.

Yay now there's a Staind thread! Chris is teh awesomeness for not forgetting them. Staind was one of the first rock bands I ever liked(back in the day when I was 14), and I <3 their songs.

I used to actually be a big fan of Staind, though nowadays I'm sort of too accustomed to their formula of music. Lewis is only an okay songwriter, and the music is quite unoriginal when you look close enough. Even still, if this album contains anything similar to Epiphany, It's Been A While or Outside, we're in for a pretty nifty one. 14 Shades wasn't really up to scratch, and Lewis needs a really slow one in there somewhere, as they're always the best to me. When they try to rock, it usually doesn't come off that great. Intro was probably the best song on Shades, actually.
With Lewis, the potential's definately there, but it just comes out about once every two years. Shame, really. |
