I think the albums that helped me the most throughout my life, and that I still go back to when Im going through a tough time is Matchbox twenty's Yourself Or Someone Like You.

Also, Seether's Disclaimer, especially Fine Again, are great songs to listen to when Im depressed.

Other than that, I dont really have an album that I listen to just certain songs.

I've never encountered an album that has helped me through bad times, but I can say that Evanescence's albums (Origin and Fallen - like you guys don't know what they are :P) helped me to find singing (which lead me to really finding new music and new artists). Singing is something that I find invaluable as an artist and a writer, and before Ev, I had never really thought about singing myself. They lead me to a new and important discovery in expressing myself... and my art and writing was absent without music. So I guess that sort of counts... ::cough::

Well besides Ev, I found that Christina Aguilera's Stripped is a great breakup album!

rokbonka is on a distinguished road
I haven't found a particular album (more of the songs from the albums) but Evanescence, NightWish, Lacuna Coil, and Within Temptation are ones that I can recall off my head.

Same. I started listening to Evanescence and NightWish and I was inspired to start singing.
