and just because john and rocky aren't in the band doesn't mean that they're not still Evanescence.
in a way, amy is Ev.
it's her band that she's been in since she was fourteen... that's the past eleven years of her life... you people on here should realize that.

this board has just become a place to bash amy now, and it really sucks. no one's ever on anymore who has anything good to say.

We do realize that. However we also realize she is a bitch. She should rename her band. In fact, she shouldn't even call it a band anymore, because it's not. A band is supposed to be a group effort. And just because you hate somebody, it doesn't mean it's perfectly ok to bitch and complain about them. That's kind of immature, but whatever. Maybe you are immature. It also kind of makes me laugh that this is "evboard" (I thought it was supposed to be for fans), and people are dissing the lead singer of the band. *prepares to be bashed for my opinion as always* I think people go to Evthreads because you're allowed to have an opinion. Not just because they are ass-kissers...

Are you in denial or just blind? In case you haven't noticed, many people got BANNED on EvThreads because they posted their 2 cents on the matter. Yeah, you're allowed to have an opinion, as long as that opinion completely agrees with what the Amy worshippers think and say. A difference of opinion is not allowed on EvThreads. Anyone who disagrees gets their post deleted, locked, or gets banned for not being a mindless sheep.

Yes but maybe Amy Lee and her sheep should realize that not once in those eleven years was she doing it on her own. She had so many people working with her, helping her to get where she is. She'd be nothing without the people who helped her, I wonder if she takes that into consideration when she leaves them by the wayside (and in Ben Moody's case, seems to be doing everything she can to try to destroy his rep).

all i have to say if you cut the head off the snake it dies so true for amyescence so if you people want this crap to go away don't buy the cd's don't buy merch don't by concert tix that will hit amy right where it hurts i hope amy's dad is reading these post i would like his input

Dude, I seriously hope he's not. No one here wants to hurt Amy and they definitely don't want to hurt Amy's family. All the 'Amy bashing' is just the reactions of people who've been disappointed in the way she's treated people and handled situations. The people here will stop buying CDs, merch, tickets etc., but it won't stop Amy/Evanescence from being successful. Look on Evthreads. She's got enough mindless minions to form her own religion. She practically has.

The bottom line here is that everyone will do what they want. The people on Evthreads can worship, the people on Evboard can denigrate, and the two boards are definitely feeding off each other. It's not going to end any time soon.

I'm truly sorry to all the families caught in this vicious crossfire.

That's not what I'm saying. Maybe you should re-read it. Maybe I didn't explain good enough for you, (it was pretty straight forward though) but that is definately not what I'm saying at all. Bitch all you want. You know darn well that's not what I said.

And voiceboxx: That is exactly what I am saying. Just because I don't agree with you, I'm am either in denial or blind.

And people get banned because there is actually moderation there. Not trying to be mean or anything, but this board has turned into a freakin warzone. People probably also go there because they know they won't be brutally bashed. There are actually rules there. The ones that get banned are usually the ones that are like some of you people, who go there just to start trouble. I actually think I have seen some of you there. *laughs at all the total hypocrites there are in the world*
