The Amy bashing on this forum is really starting to get old.....who agrees?

ME!

I don't understand why people can't understand that there are mixed opinions of her, just like there are of any other person. I won't say whether I support her or not (and for those of you that are gonna call me a stupid worshipping fangirl, know that I've been a fan of evanescence for years, even before Ben left.), but it just needs to be left alone, in my opinion. Some will like her, some will hate her, and some will be neutral, and people just need to learn to respect that and move on.

I'm just waiting for Biff to post here.

That shall be interesting lol

First. This is Evboard: meaning, while other things can be discussed, first and foremost, Evanescence is the topic of choice.

Second. Most of those left are old fans. Not just six month old TOD newcomers, who only know Amy and that is all they know. We knew Evanescence, the band, and were fans of all its members. Amy, by her own (sortof) admission, fired one or more members and from all accounts pushed out others. So, for those of us who were fans of the whole band, Amy Lee has hurt our friends, and we do not appreciate it. She has also taken control of our favorite band and has turned it into a solo career, when she could have left the band in 2003 instead of Ben. She would have been happy and Ben could have replaced her; but Ben left thinking it was in good hands, but many of us feel she has destroyed our favorite band from the inside, whether consciously or unconsciously.

Third. If you don't like it: a) start another thread (one that does not continue debate on the subject) b) don't read the threads that you know will have anti-Amy sentiment c) go the fuck somewhere else (may I suggest evthreads?)

I dont consider disagreeing with her decisions or the direction she has taken the band to be bashing btw

This board is no different than evthreads, in that if you say anything negative about TOD or Amy, you get ripped apart over there, just as the Amy supporters accuse us of doing over here.

I get what your saying but what whats done is done, accept it. Why does everyone keep coming on here and bitching and wining about it, if you dont even like the band anymore I just don't see why all the ev haters continue to come back here.

The Amy-bashing is getting no more old than all the Amy-asskissery continuing to happen.

It's similar to Newton's Law, however for the sake of argument, we shall call this one Biff's Law.

Pull your heads out of Amy's ass, and the bashing shall stop once all you blindly devoted Amy-lovers finally begin to believe what kind of person she really is.
