I like this quote:

"He has showed you, O man, what is good. And what does the LORD require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your G-d." -- Micah 6:8

yes, now you got it right

Okay, another hypothesis: could I possibly argue that one's love and one's conscience, if both are used as the basis of a moral decision, are the same thing? The Bible says "base all your actions on love"; and to act in accordance with one's conscience is to do what one feels is right - could I say that one's conscience is a derivation of love? Because if you love someone, you would always try to do what is right for that person; if you base all your actions on love, you would always do what you truly feel is the best for everyone.

Damn, I really suck at explaining o_o Anyone understand the comparison that I'm making between conscience and love?

That's good to hear

I'm not sure if that comparison really works though - it makes sense to me right now, but there might be something I didn't think of.

Woah, I really do need to sleep! I forgot the 2nd half of my question!! Okay, assuming that my "hypothesis" does work, what are some examples of actions done in the Bible that might help me illustrate my point? Ie. something to show that an action was done both out of love and in accordance with one's conscience.
