I read it, I really loved it! It's got a lot of interesting theories, I think it has a lot of themes close to feminism. I mean, why would the christian God, if he is all that chrstians make him out to be, shun like 50% of Earth's population, what's so wrong with women? Well, I could rant about this day and night so I better not start. But it was interesting, true or not and I think the christian church should just reconsider some things.

(and it does make sense that women would have been worshipped more than men in the beginning, right? I mean, women do "make" a new person. Okay, men are involved but women sort of build it inside of them and anyways, the early people might not have understood how it works, just that when you bang a girl, voilá, after nine months a baby comes out of her.. Doesn't that kind of mean that a woman is holier than man, closer to God the creator? And why is sex so bad? Because men just want to rule us all and make sex a sin just to oppress women, women can only be whores or virgins, women can't be sexual beings and at the same "pure" or worthy... mutter... okay will try and stop ranting now... mutter...)

The book had a lot of interesting things about general symbolism, I'd really love to study it. Now I understand what all the roses in Utena are about

And why did somebody think EvBoarders wouldn't like the book?

While I enjoyed reading it I found myself quite irritated with it as I felt that the suspense and purposeful leaving out of information was too much. I just wanted to know what the heck the things were rather than suddenly switching points of view. Angels and Demons is by far his best book. If you haven't read any of his books, read that one. I cannot even begin to describe just how awesome that book is. Another good one is Deception Point . I actually thought that out of the three The Da Vinci Code would be ranked 3rd.

Yeah, the same thing ticked me off too. I mean, it's like this soap opera cliffhanger thing and it makes no sense in a book. It's a book, we can skip ahead! And we've already bought it, there's no need to make us want to come back for more. We're already back for more. It's a book!

I just finished Deception Point and liked it a lot, but I still do prefer Da Vinci Code, I love mysticism and symbolism. Bought Angels and Demons today, let's see how I like it.
