the rules had changed and the mods gave us free reign to discuss any song we wanted. but with the everything being wiped out, obviously the post isn't there anymore

I don't mean to assume anything about anyone on this board, seeing as how I've never actually met anyone. But please give me the respect of not assuming anything about me. I was here before the crash, I lost my account and had to sign up for another one. I know how the first one was run, and I was just commenting on how this has been run, since it's been restarted. And it is working well this way, so why change it again.

Here's what will happen in this thread.

The mod gets to pick the song of discussion.

The discussion will for each song will last about 3-4 pages, at which point a mod gets to choose another song.

However, this will come with rules...as usual.

1. Do not have one of those "OMFGZ, I egree wit u. U meke a wealy gewd point!!!!!!111oneoneonetwothree!!!!!!!" posts. Leave those positive (or even negative) comments for either rep comments or PM's.
2. It's almost like a debate forum post in EvChat. Support or oppose one's post if you'd like, but if you do, at the very least give reasons why you support or oppose somebody's view. You may post your own interpretation if you find it to be different from others. There is no particularly stupid interpretation as long as you're open-minded...or unless the poster of the interpretation happens to be stupid
3. They must be Evanescence songs....no covers. Not for this thread anyway.
We shouldn't have any problems in here, since I find a lot of the posters to have interesting things to say.
I look for some interesting discussion to occur here.
However, I do ask that if you're going to participate in the discussion to please follow through the thread. If you post about another song and we've finished discussion on that song, your post will get deleted.
Anyway, the first song that will be up for discussion will be

I'd really like to know what 'Whisper' is all about? I can pretty much figure out every song but I can't get this one for sure...

Is it about beating the odds, standing up for yourself, being strong, being a warrior?

I'm sorry that I didn't come to this topic before there would be such an argument.

Before the crash, I allowed members of the board to post at their own will as long as they specified what song they were talking about.
